more than 100 firefighters responded to this out of control fire inside a gutted factory in york, pennsylvania. four firefighters were trapped and the building partially collapsed on them. two of those firefighters have died from their injuries. the two survivors are recovering in the hospital. the cause of this fire is still under investigation. workers in the process of renovating that building into apartments. >> you can say it was really difficult to fight that fire. it was a tough 24 hours for firefighters in this area. just learned that a new york city firefighter just died in a blaze. we're going to move on to the former playboy model who is now speaking out.

good friday morning i'm kendis gibson. >> and i'm diane macedo. here are some of the top headlines we're following on "world news now." filled streets in sacramento, forcing the street of a major interstate. we have full details ahod. frds record rainfall has triggered floods. forecasters say the southern part of the state is drying up, but a new storm is moving into northern california and the pacific northwest. facebook ceo, mark zuckerberg will address people at an all-hands meeting about the misuse of personal data of 50 million facebook users. and another prayer has been answered for sister jean and the loyola chicago ramblers basketball team.

the windy city school and its biggest fan are a win away from making a trip the final four. those are some of our top stories on this friday, march 23rd. >> announcer: from abc news this is "world news now." good morning to you all. we begin this half hour with anger on the streets of sacramento, california. >> they delayed the start of an nba game as they protested a deadly police shooting. an unarmed black man was can killed grandparent's backyard. now the actions of the officers before and after that shooting are now under fire. >> reporter: it's not just the disturbing manner in which stephen clark died. [ gunfire ] >> reporter: but, what happened after this split-second decision by police and why they turned off their microphones that has so many in sacramento, including

his family, out raged. >> he was shot so many times. >> reporter: police say it started when neighbors called 911 reporting a man breaking car windows and hiding in a backyard. in the air, a police helicopter zoning in on someone running south then hopping a fence. >> just broke a window. got a hoody on. >> reporter: that car, parked at clark's grandmother's house. seconds later you see police approaching him. police say they fired 20 rounds because clark advanced towards them holding what they believed to be a gun and that they feared for their safety. police held their positions for nearly six minutes before administering cpr. soon after their body cams going silent as they discussed what happened with a supervisor. >> when they fired the service weapons, they believed this

individual had a firearm. >> reporter: body cam footage showing the father of two, holding just an iphone. no weapon was found. police are launching an investigation. and we have to point out that the rules allow them to deactivate body camera when they want to discuss a concern with a supervisor. but the two officers involved remain on paid administrative leave. they do believe clark is the one responsible for vandalizing the cars that night. so many people are questioning the officer's decision to fire 20 rounds at him. kayna whitworth. organizers say hundreds of thousands of people will rally against gun violence tomorrow in washington d.c. while stoneman douglas high school students are already in the nation's capitol. they called on members of congress to take more action on gun control and school safety. they say while there's been movement in their state and nationally in the seven weeks

imposing tariffs on imports from the u.s. the products are aluminum, steel, fruit and wine, this mornings announcement follows president trump's ordering of tariffs on at least $50 billion in chinese imports. the announcement from the white house causing a lot of volatility in the stock markets. it sent the u.s. stocks tumbling. the dow had its worst day in six weeks. rebecca jarvis tells us why. >> reporter: two primary issues weighing on stocks. those new tariffs against china on industries like aerospace, machinery and i.t. the fear on wall street is retailuation. what does it mean for u.s. businesses that sell their goods to china and how will china respond with its own retaliation in terms of tariffs or even a ban on certain u.s. goods being sold in china. the second major issue is facebook and this question about what happens to technology companies in the wake of this facebook scandal, involving

those 50 million accounts that were exploited. allegedly by cambridge analytica. so far mark zuckerberg has apologized and said it's a breach for facebook's trust. but, the issue for wall street is, what does this fundamentally mean for the business of facebook? facebook's greatest asset is the value of information it gets from you, your activity on the platform. if this invites new regulation, something mark zuckerberg said he's okay with, it could mean a change to facebook's business model, especially if the amount of information they can collect on its users is restricted. rebecca jarvis, abc news, new york. and we have breaking news from capitol hill where the senate worked beyond midnight to approve a budget bill. it goes to the president for a signature to avoid that would be the third shutdown. $1.3 trillion spending bill

more than 100 firefighters responded to this out of control fire inside a gutted factory in york, pennsylvania. four firefighters were trapped and the building partially collapsed on them. two of those firefighters have died from their injuries. the two survivors are recovering in the hospital. the cause of this fire is still under investigation. workers in the process of renovating that building into apartments. >> you can say it was really difficult to fight that fire. it was a tough 24 hours for firefighters in this area. just learned that a new york city firefighter just died in a blaze. we're going to move on to the former playboy model who is now speaking out. >> in an interview with cnn,
