around maritime and 7th street, reports of a fire. it sounds like that's off of the freeway, off to the side. i'll keep an eye on that and see if the fire department has to take away any lanes. i don't think it will cause major delays. we'll check on that next. a crash that killed a family was likely intentional. the speedometer was pinned at 90 miles an hour. >> the software of the car indicates it stopped and then accelerated off the cliff. melanie woodrow has the details. >> the california highway patrol saying a deadly crash off the coast of california appears to have been intentional. >> at this point in the investigation, that's the direction we're going with it. >> investigators say there was approximately 70 feet of continuous acceleration before the suv went over the edge and impacted the ocean floor. sara and jennifer hart were

driving the suv when it went off the cliff. three of the children remain missing. >> the vehicle came to a stop, most likely in that pull-out and then accelerated off the cliff. >> investigators now addressing rumors of a suicide note at the family's home saying no note was found and they are still evaluating items found in the search, including some red flags. they would not elaborate what. >> there's a lot of people online saying they were beautiful people. at some time they may have been. that's not what we saw next door. >> investigators say the information they are now sharing is preliminary and still being verified. in the newsroom, melanie wood w woodrow, abc 7 news. now more than 100 firefighters are searching for a 13-year-old boy to fell into a drainage park. jesse hernandez was playing in an abandoned maintenance shed

minor errors. china will impose a tariff on more than 100 american-made goods, many from california. it's in retaliation for president trump new tariffs on chinese steel and aluminum. china's 15% tariff will include nuts, wine, and aluminum, among others. many of the products come from here. another sign of recovery in the fire zone of sonoma county. the press democrat says much of the regional park and -- was severely burned in october is now open again. crews have repaired trails and retaining walls. there are burn scars. you also a survey will be conducted -- it determines the amount of water that will runoff during warmer months. found 41 inches of snow.
