up. but first in freemont we're learning new details about a man who was killed in a shoot-out with police. this comes as some people question the use of force in the wake of deadly police shootings across the country. >> reporter: neighbors near the scene of thursday's deadly scene in freemont described it as total chaos. >> once i heard the gunshots, i immediately ducked, my wife and i were both inside of our homes. >> reporter: around 7:00 a lost night, a police officer spotted a suspect who was riding in the area of freemont boulevard and nicollette avenue. when the vehicle pulled over, police say the suspect took off in the direction of this arrest co-estatio -- arco station. that's when the chase led to the street which led to the deadly shoot-out. police say the suspect pulled his gun first and refused to put it down. >> it's really startling the legal of violence these suspects are demonstrating towards our

officers. >> reporter: this is the city's sixth officer-involved shooting this month, including one person who died from a self-inflicted wound. >> we continue to see violent suspects who will do anything it takes to get away from officers. >> reporter: in this most recent case, the suspect whose identity has not been released was wanted on a felony warrant for illegal possession of a firearm as well as a probation violation. police said he had cult off his ankle monitoring device. at least seven officers were involved in the shooting, four on patrol, and three under cover. all of them will be placed on administrative leave during the investigation. the search for a man considered armed and dangerous is over thanks to a tip. san francisco police say dustin hamilton is now in custody.

now to the latest on the investigation into the youtube shooting in san bruno. an employee at a san diego gunshot remembers selling aghdam the gun she used in the

shooting. he said she didn't stand out. the 9 millimeter gun was purchased legally and in her name. >> nasim aghdam's parents are expressing sadness about is shooting. >> reporter: in a heart beat they went from an innocent working class neighborhood to the parents of a mass shooter. was your daughter a terrorist? >> no. >> did you know she had a gun? >> no. >> reporter: nasim's parents grieving for the -- police say she took the handgun she bought in january to the san francisco area and on tuesday used it on youtube employees. >> a shooter at 901 cherry. >> reporter: and then herself. overnight her family invited us into the home they shared with

her. this is her bedroom? >> yes, this is her bedroom. >> reporter: this is her screen for the videos, i guess? over the past decade she had become somewhat of a sensation for those videos of her exercising, promoting veganism or even teaching dancing. but the family says youtube began to filter her last year. would you say she was obsessed with youtube? >> that's all she was doing making videos. >> reporter: and when she disappeared last weekend, her parents filed a missing persons report. police at mountain view, california said they spotted her car and then alerted her parents that she was safe. that was at 2:00 a.m. the morning of the shooting. police thought the family would be happy, but instead, it seems parents tried to warn police she might be up to something. did you tell them that she might be violent? >> i said that maybe she go
