drive. ace train one has left on time this morning. president trump is warning russia this morning and telling the country to get ready for a missile attack in syria. here is the tweet he sent out just before 4:00 a.m. russia vows to shoot down in and all missiles fired at syria. get ready, russia, they will be coming, nice and new and smart. you shouldn't be partners with a gas killing animal who kills his people and enjoys it. this all follows a suspected poison gas attack in syria over the weekend. on monday the president said he would make a decision about a response in 24 to 48 hours. it's 4:32. facebook's mark zuckerberg is set for another round in grilling in washington, d.c. he sent about five hours yesterday answering questions from two senate committees and is set to appear before members of the house. zuckerberg took heat for failing to protect the information of

and sunny side. 49 to the warm spot side. oceanside, ocean beach around 51 to 352 degrees. pretty clear from south beach. things will get progressively worse during the evening commute. i put caution on the roads. if you're out on the ferry or taking mass transit because of the wet weather moving in during the evening commute. it hits the north bay first. you can see around 3:00, 4:00. until then we're starting off at 47 this morning, 58 at 2:00, dropping off to 51 by 8:00. 52 at 8:00. by noon 62. we'll hang on to the mid 60s at 2:00 and 4:00. tonight's temperatures even cooler than this morning, 30s showing up around lakeport, santa rosa, low to mid 40s in the inland valleys. mid to upper 40s around the bay and the coast. a few splots of green out there.

monday. someone wants a soda tax in san jose. the mystery tax, who? the media reporter says she wants to ask a few questions about the potential future ballot initiative in san jose. so far it's unclear who funded the poll. the mayor says it didn't original from city hall. there is a significant step forward in the effort to build the a's a new ball park in oakland. our media partners report alameda county is looking to sell its share of the complex to the city of oakland. in a statement since the city controls how the land is used, it's best to sell what alameda county owns to oakland. jeff sessions will meet with sheriffs from texas, new mexico, california and arizona. that meeting comes as thousands

of national guards are deployed to the mexico border. immigrant rights activists plan to protest sessions when he visits new mexico today. sessions has called for a zero tolerance policy on illegal border crossings. $11 million may have saved the delta tunnels. the water agency voted to spend the money to build the project. the 35-mile-long tunnels will divert water. funding for the $16 billion project have been in question until yesterday's vote. the delta tunnels project has been a top priority of governor brown. a baby boom in the south bay. early spring means lots of newborn animals. unfortunately hundreds are orphaned because of human activity. nbc reporter katie marzullo has more on how to protect animals on your property. >> reporter: four orphaned coyote pups in san jose after their mother was hit by a car,

another one light on our storm impact scale sunday and monday. here's sue. >> moving over to san rafael. leaving novato southbound on 101. easy drive to the golden gate bridge and first we'll check the richmond san rafael bridge. also an easy drive for about a five-minute cruise across the upper deck into marin county for the east bay side of things. we'll take a look at the traffic map. we explain what the purple in the top left of the screen is. road closure along highway 1. we had flooding with the storm last week and rock slides and earlier problems that has that roadway temporarily blocked. so just be aware of that. tough to get through there, and also slow coming out of the central valley. highway 4, look at that, clear and smooth sailing from antioch into concord. the mayors from the bay area's three largest cities will put support behind a bill
