help. a restaurant owner has now died after an attempted robbery outside her restaurant on webster street. eric thomas is there life with the new surveillance video of the attack. eric. >> reporter: you're going to see that surveillance video in a moment. the female victim was coother than of the faux and dao restaurant in alameda. we haven't been able to talk to family members or coworkers yet. but the manager of a nearby business said he heard the commercial last friday, the attack that started the cascade that claimed the woman's life. he looked outside saw her bleeding from the head and vomiting and called 911. he did not see the compact incident but police are now investigating what began as an attempted robbery and turned into a vicious homicide. look closely at the top of the skren and you'll see the struggle tu turning that case attempted are to homds. the surveillance video from a in addition base shows the attackers beating 61-year-old cindy leeann a 28-year-old man

scene after a man was shot and killed 9:40 this morning. you can see on the map where it happened, south 15th street and main avenue. detectives haven't said what prompted the shooting or if they made arrests. richmond went several months as we reported without a homicide ever after the first of the year until this weekway o with the last one being in november. well the search for suspects is on after two highway shootings within hours of each other last night in contra costa county. the chp says the shootings are unrelated but each is a case of road rage. they have that in common. the first of walnut creek. the second at 11:15 and state highway 4 near the 242 junction in concord. the first shooting shatters a victim's car window and left a bullet fragment inside the vehicle process that fan with two men rg o rg aing. the second after the subject
