just about here, demonstracrats including nancy pelosi remain focused on the tax plan passed by congress. they have been touring the country pointing out they believe it will have on middle class families. the tour will wrap up this afternoon in san francisco. pelosi will be among the featured speakers at the san francisco labor council. the chp is searching for clues after someone fired shots near where an officer made a traffic stop in richmond. it happened around 7:00 near central avenue. the chp does not ploobelieve th officer was targeted. one woman heard the shots and saw what happened next. >> suddenly i heard, at least 20

shots. there was one police car parked there and i saw the police jump into his car and chase him down the road. >> they are wondering if this is that car. abc 7 news was in berkeley after police received calls with this car with several bullet holes. they are trying to see if it is linked to the shooting in richmond. abc 7 news was in downtown walnut skrecreek when a fire br out inside a restaurant. flames started just after 6:00. firefighters kept them from spreading to nearby businesses along locust street. fire officials say it was likely an accident caused by a malfunctioning light fixture. bay area college and high school students along with other ookt viss for dpun control dpatherred outside the cal palace this weekend. they were protesting one of the country's biggest gun shows. abc 7 news was in daly city

where the small group of demonstrators showed up at the cross roads of the west gun show. they are calling for stronger gun control laws. >> i'm not saying i'm against guns. i'm saying i'm against gun violence and i want to do everything i can and want legislation to do everything they can to ensure guns are distributed in way considering the safety of the american public as their first and primary concern. >> one gun show attendee said he did not have a problem but plooef current background checks are enough. >> reporter: n ,0 now to the video gone vir. two men were arrested at starbucks as customers questioned why they were being handcuffed. the police department and starbucks are sharing their responses. abc news reporter has the story. >> what did they do?

. a russian built rocket blasted off from florida last night. it's carrying a satellite for the u.s. air force along with another spacecraft that will conduct multiple experiments. the air force says the satellite will help upgrade its glow ball communications. a lost piece of pay area history unearthed at a flea market and shown for the first time this weekend to the public. the rare footage of san francisco following a 1906 earthquake will end up in the library of congress. abc 7 news reporter shows parts of it to you. >> i knew this was going to be special. >> reporter: david keen threads the projector. >> this is way they've done it since the 1890s really. >> reporter: he restores the films. the edison theater is a gem in and of itself.

sfo you can see the low cloud cover here. 53 downtown. it's 57 in oakland. san jose mild at 58. the southwesterly winds out ahead of the system allowing mild air for your sunday morning. temperatures are going to be hard pressed to make it through the mid and upper 60s. that's a good 10 to 15 degree drop today. not even in the 60s tomorrow. we have some sun. partly to mostly cloudy out there. it will be cooler with breezy winds today and the rain developing. the thunderstorms arrive tomorrow and then sunny and warmer. we'll have to wait all week long to enjoy that. it's a one on our storm impact scale today.

rainfall maybe up to a half inch inlocations. the coastal hills and gusty winds throughout the day today. behind it as well. by 2:00, we'll have some rain up in the north bay and then the second half of the day it sinks south. it does weaken. you'll pick up rain and it will be scattered. the colder air filters on in and then the gusty winds as well. we'll be looking at the snow levels lowering. the unavailable environment allowing for small hail. we'll put together both days. today and tomorrow with a third of an inch in san francisco. some areas could get more. we'll get the isolated areas of heavy downpours. maybe a quarter of an inch. then the snow comes in later on tonight. the heaviest snow late tonight into tomorrow.

we all have our pet peeves about flying. >> bad customer service is my pet peeve. >> the chair is terrible. >> there's not enough overhead baggage. >> reporter: consumer reports surveyed more than 53,000 of its members asking them to rate their most recent economy domestic flight experiences. >> one of the things that stood out to me was just how satisfied people actually are with the service that they receive by the airlines. >> reporter: there were notable exceptions. discount carriers spirit and frontier received low marks across the board. wi-fi contectivety and food selection. riding to the top, southwest, alaska, jet blue, virgin americ and hawaiian led the way with economy flights. >> southwest stood out for their price transparency. they were the only one that received such high marks in

breezy winds about 500 feet. you'll feel it throughout the day lowering and the wind shifting tomorrow. here's santa cruz where it's almost 60 degrees. that really should be the high today. that colder air coming in with the front. cooler, breeze vi with rain and looking at the isolated thunderstorms and low snow levels tomorrow and sunny and warm but it will take all week to get there. there's another week system mid week that could bring us a few sprinkles. one on our storm impact scale today. the rain showers maybe too tense of a third of an inch and some of the heavier downpours you could pick up about half inch. let's time it out for you. look at the yellow as the front pushes its way across the north bay. this is where we could have the heavier downpours in the afternoon. then by 3:00, it's pushing into the city and look at the coast. you can see brief, heavy rain

and freeze them. >> reporter: they spent two hours driving here from sacramento to bag their favorite goodies. >> kind of flipped out. i had to grab my husband and say virginia bakery is closing. >> reporter: they found out on facebook when ann announced on monday they will be retiring and closing for good on april 28th. the weirdest cake they ever did. they still have a picture of a blood red cake for a halloween wedding. the funniest moment when they delivered cake aboard a yacht. >> they had left the hatch open and when he was walking he fell down the hatch and the cake fell on top of him and that was quite a mess. >> i came back and made a new cake. >> he came back and made a new cake for the people. >> my parents got their strawberry wedding cake from here in 1977. every year i've had a birthday we came here. >> i want that -- the butterfly one. >> the kids coming in from the
