rideshare users tonight. be careful whose car you get into. a woman in san francisco got into the wrong vehicle and was beaten and assaulted in the back seat as a result. good evening, i'm dan ashley. >> and i'm alma daetz. law enforcement is looking for the two men behind the attack. they picked her up outside bruno's bar in san francisco and left her injured in sonoma. >> lilian kim is on the story. >> reporter: it was in front of the sonoma safe way where a 24-year-old woman was spotted walking alone just before 5:00 a.m. saturday. >> she had visible injuries on her face and neck. should she was walking without any shoes on and someone at safe way stopped and asked if she was okay. she said she wasn't, she was sexually assaulted and he took her into safe way to get her help. >> reporter: not much is released on the two men's description tz. she said they were speaking in a language she didn't understand. they picked her up hours earlier in front of bruno's san francisco mission district.

the victim believed the car she was entering was the one she ordered on the ride sharing app. turned out it wasn't. >> it was an opportunity or people actually trolling around posing to be, you know, an uber or lyft driver. at closing time, if they can get someone -- trick somebody to get in their car. >> reporter: ridesharing customers we talked with say this is a reminder to take precautions. >> if they don't know my name obviously they're not picking me up. >> i always look at the last few numbers or letters of the license plate and make sure i'm getting in the right car. >> reporter: the victim is missing her black boots, i.d. and cell phone. anyone with information is asked to call the sonoma county sheriff's department. ? sonoma, lilian kim, abc7 news. >> tonight's search crews in mendocino county located the last member of the family swept away in the eel river a week-and-a-half ago. the southern california family was heading home from a trip in

oregon when their car was seen going into the flooded river near leg ette. search crews located the bodies of the parents and daughter. the body of their son was found late today. the chp is still investigating the cause of the crash. >> abc7 news was in save's chinatown where a homeless man was murdered mere an elementary school over the weekend. way found on joy street at yesterday morning. appeared he had been beaten. he was living near the community center the past few weeks. >> cease and desist. that's the order tonight from the city of san francisco to scooter rental companies. as abc7 news reporter kate larson found out it is barely slowing down those companies who put scooters out on the streets just a month ago. >> reporter: while very popular, the late est in tech transportation has also proved to be a pain. >> three scooters, one of them was sort of blocking, blocking the sidewalk.

around sunset and a few showers around the bay area, but not from this time perspective. hope it brightens your night as we look at live doppler 7. most areas are seeing clear skies in the sierra. we continue to see the snow coming down. chains have been required. now the snow just ended there. temperatures here in the bay area, they're dropping. numbers are anywhere from the 30s to the 50s. take a look at where they stand compared to 24 hours ago. running 4 degrees cooler from san jose to oakland to novato. 8 degree drop in napa compared to this time yesterday. temperatures are going to recover. it's going to be a warmer day tomorrow. average high for san jose, 73 degrees. mid 60s. you will notice that even though it does cool off a little bit wednesday, those temperatures will recover quite a bit, getting up over the weekend into the upper 70s to low 80s in san jose. so, it's going to be a warm spring weekend. something you can look forward to if you have outdoor plans. right now a live picture from

our sutro tower camera and it is a beautiful view of downtown san francisco. clearing skies, rain returns late wednesday. we are looking at a much warmer end of the workweek. temperatures as you will notice will be in the low 30s to the mid 40s so the coldest inland valleys will be in the north bay and the east bailo indications where you might see some patchy frost. don't be surprised if you do. definitely need to make sure your kids have jackets and you have a jacket or sweater. afternoon highs upper 50s to the mid 60s. breezy, mainly sunny. and the storm impact scale comes in. it's a light level 1 system. wednesday night into early thursday we're going to be seeing scattered light showers a 10th to a quarter inch most areas. snow level will be coming down to 3500 feet. it is not going to be as cold as the system that came through today and produced the snow showers down to about 2000 feet. 6:00 wednesday night, you will notice the rain moving on shore. it's going to be across most of the bay area by 10:00 p.m. and then into the thursday morning commute 5:00 a.m., you will still notice some wet roadways
