an internal police investigation is now under way into this latest incident. and the ceo of starbucks is on a damage control after that arrest of two black men in a philadelphia store. >> we're also hearing more about the staff at that starbucks. linsey davis is in philadelphia with more. >> reporter: protests shut down this starbucks in philadelphia. the outrage comes after this now-viral video of two black men escorted out of the starbucks in handcuffs. >> what did they do? >> they didn't do anything. i saw the entire thing. >> reporter: police say the men were sitting at a table but had not made a purchase. when asked to leave they refused. that's when the manager called 911, reporting the incident as trespassing. this man says they are real estate agents just waiting to meet with him. >> i sat in there the other day for an hour, no one asked me to order anything or leave. >> reporter: the police

and the first american women to win the boston marathon in 33 year. those of some of the top stories on tuesday, april 17th. this is "world news now." we're going to start the hour off with the investigation focussed on the president's personal attorney and it took a dramatic turn in court. fox news host sean hannity revealed as his mystery client. >> lawyers are fighting to review documents seized in the fbi raid last week. and the judge forced them to identify a mystery third client in open court. it turned out to be sean hannity. but hannity insists cohen is not his lawyer. >> reporter: a crush of cameras as stormy daniels arrived in federal court. the porn star and those clamoring to get a glimpse of her tripping over barricades, security rushing her inside.

less fanfare for michael cohen. the president's long-time personal lawyer, who paid for daniels' silence, cohen fighting for control of items swept up in those raids one week ago. a new court filing from cohen's attorney revealing he worked for three clients over the last year, donald trump, elliott brady and a third client that cohen said wanted to remain anonymous. cohen arranged a $130,000 payment to daniels days before the election and a reported $1.6 million to a model broidy allegedly had an affair with. hannity down-played his relationship. >> michael cohen never represented me in any legal matter. i never retained his services. i never received an invoice. i never paid michael cohen for legal fees.

i did have brief conversations with michael cohen where i was looking for input and perspective. >> reporter: federal prosecutors say cohen has been under investigation for months. the raids in part to look for information about secret cash deals made outside the campaign to protect donald trump, possible campaign finance violations. cohen's attorney calling the raids unprecedented, argued against having a separate group of prosecutors deciding what is acceptable. cohen not even looking daniels' way. afterwards, stormy daniels' attorney inviting her to come to the mic. >> for years michael cohen has

acted like he's above the law. he considered himself, onpenly referred to himself as trump's fixer. he's played by a different set of rules or no rules at all. he has never thought that the little man or women like me matter. that ends now. >> reporter: michael cohen has been with the president for more than a decade. he is on the record saying, quote, i will do anything to protect mr. trump. kyra phillips, abc news, new york. now to a new warning about a cyber threat from russia. u.s. and britain says russia is behind a global effort to infiltrate our home and business internet routers. that would allow hackers to not only access personal information but intellectual property. they might be able to launch other cyberattacks from american computers. syria claims it came under another missile attack hours ago. the target was reportedly the air base that the u.s. attacked last year.

syria says it shot down the missiles which may have been fired by israeli forces. israel says it doesn't comment on such reports. you can soon pay more for things you buy online. the issue of internet sales tax is being argued before the supreme court. brad mielke has more. >> when i buy something online, i literally don't know if i'm about to pay sales tax on that item or not. there's a reason for that. it depends whether the seller has a physical location in your state. later this morning, the supreme court will hear arguments over whether that rule should be changed. the case is being brought by south dakota and other states who say times have changed and they're losing millions in tax dollars. big online sellers are saying hey, we shouldn't have to deal with different sales tax laws across the country. but kate shaw told me this. >> i think goes to something really interesting at the heart of the case. i'm not sure people are paying

that much attention to whether and when they're paying sales tax online. if that's the case, i think it's a real question about whether people are going to change their buying behavior. >> you remember that criticism that senators seemed a little clueless when they talked about facebook? the average supreme court justice is much older. we'll have much more on "start here." check it out on apple podcast or wherever you listen. we turn now to the latest in teacher protests. this time it's educators in colorado. rallying for better pay, more school funding. they swarmed the state capital in denver as they talked about cuts to retirement benefits. colorado's economy is one of the best in the country, but teacher salaries rank among the worst. bill cosby's accuser has completed more than seven hours of testimony. andrea constand says she settled a civil suit for more than $3 million because she wanted to move past the case.

investigators and a drug expert are expected on the stand today. and five men are going to prison for the hazing death of a fraternity pledge at florida state university. they will spend time behind bars. another who cooperated with investigators will only serve 30 days. andrew coffey died of alcohol poisoning in november. four others will go on trial in june. a hiker had to be rescued after a freak accident. the 29-year-old woman got stuck under a rock when she climbed can between boulders to get glasses she dropped. took about an hour to free her. the rocks weighed as much as five tons, even had to use jaws of life to pry them apart. luckily, the woman was not injured. and former first lady barbara bush is said to be in great spirits today, days after her family announced her health is failing. the 92-year-old is resting at home in houston surrounded by family members. mrs. bush has suffered from
