ga good morning and thanks so much for joining us. let's start with a preview of the accuweather forecast. >> good morning to you. lots of sunshine outside your window. as we look at live doppler 7 there's fog along the coast and it's mainly south of the city. it will be impacting our beach temperatures. looks delightful. 51 downtown. 48 half-moon bay. we are warming this morning. anywhere from a degree to about five degrees warmer.

it's cooler at the coast. 10:00 well into the 60s. we stay in the 50s. lit be a cool day again. in the city it will be very pleasant. 2:00 mid-60s. upper 70s in san ramon and the evening forecast once again nice and mild. we'll keep this forecast for the next few days with some subtle changes. then more dramatic changes. ville i'll have the details in a few minutes. breaking news out of tennessee where police are looking for a gunman who o fire killing four people. state and federal law enforcement agencies have knowledge of the suspect due to previous interactions. >> do you have it? suspect is still on foot.

they have multiple patients this time. we do not have a total count. the suspected gunman first started shooting outside the restaurant. >> the guy in a pickup truck pulled up. gets it out of his vehicle and wearing nothing but a jacket. and shot some guy right at the door. authorities say a patron was able to wrestle the rifle away tr the shooter and he took off. calling him a personal of interest. >> we have received certain information from illinois who indicated to under the circumstances that he has been known to associate with firearms. >> from the dprounground to the. law enforcement surrounding the area. police armed with assault

rifles. helicopters flying above in the desperate search for the suspect. now to developing news in san francisco. firefighters are trying to determine the cause of a three alarm fire that left one person dead in the inner sunset. the fire broke out before 10:00 last night. crews say the fire was difficult to put out. we have to go downtown towards fire and fight that heat. it's very dangerous. >> neighbors say an elderly woman lives in the bottom unit with her son. it's unclear if she's the person who died. >> it was pretty pitch black.

the officers were telling the smoke is tdangerous. i came out again. i'm just checking to see if my friends okay. >> firefighters say three people are displaced. two are out of country right now pop the red cross is helping all three. more developing news this morning out of contra costa county. dozens of customers are without water as crews continue to clean up after a water main break. east may mud says an eig inch cast iron pipe broke around 1:00 this morning. about 45 customers are without water. officials expect service to be back later this morning by 10:00 at the earliest. a defining moment and surprise announcement coming out of north korea. the nation's communist leader says he will suspend the nuclear program. abc 7 news reporter has more reaction and political

speculation. >> reporter: no more test missile launches. that's the word coming from north korean dictator kim jong-un. north korea state run television report the country will suspend all nuclear and ballistic missile tests immediately. a nuclear test site will shut down. kim said our nation will focus all of its efforts toward socialist economic development. >> the north koreans have a long history of misleading the world particularly around their weapons in nuclear programs. >> reporter: bay area congressman is on the house intelligence committee. he and abc news consultant admit they are skeptical. >> they have broken every treaty and promise they have made to us and the south koreans. this will not just be trust but verify it will be distrust but verify. >> reporter: still president trump reacted on twitter writing

thanksgiving is very good news for north korea and the world. big progress. look forward to our summit. a summit between the two leaders is tentatively set for late may or early june. >> president trump's impulse will have to be under control. he's dealing with somebody who is just as impulsive he is and you can imagine how combustible a situation like that is. >> experts believe fwhoenorth k missiles are capable of reaching the u.s. a man hunt has ended in sonoma county after a suspect in a deadly stabbing was captured. you're looking at the suspect. police tell us he was arrested in san rafael. yesterday afternoon a fight broke out after a party near bodega avenue and west hill circle. he stabbed 19-year-old cory vaughn in a parking lot.

. the islamic state group have claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing in afghanistan that killed 57 people and injured 119 others. officials say a suicide bomber struck a voter registration center in kabul. people were gathered there to receive national identification cards. the extremist group is opposed to democratic elections. the country there will hold elections in october. former 49er quarterback colin kaepernick has been

awarded an award. human rights organization amnesty international gave the award to kaepernick. he described police killings of african-americans and latinos in the u.s. as lawful lynches. it's the highest honor. past winners include nelson mandela. hardships on the hawaiian island of kawaii. a dozen mudslides cut off access to two towns. the damage is major. crews expected to take several weeks before they can open one of the two lanes. volunteers are shuttle people in and out of their isolated homes by boats.

elsewhere the fog has been an issue from half-moon bay. it's better in the north bay. low 60s for gilroy and san jose. a warm one. north and south end of the bay and also in our inland valleys. the flag wasn't bhooufing. 54 in santa rosa. right now we're looking at a slight fwhorterly gradient that will help warm us up in some spots and keep the coast pretty much clear. the peninsula will see temperatures well into the 70s and the temperatures will be above average the next couple of days. we'll get cooling but in the meantime pollen has been an

issue. the free oak, mulberry. no rain in this seven-day out look. we'll see mild temperatures. stinson one of the warmer locations. looking at numbers in the south bay. pretty warm. 83 in morgan hill. 81 in santa clara. looking at numbers very similar to yesterday. 62 in pacifica. here are the 80s again. this orange contour means pretty warm with 83 in pleasanton and we're going to see temperatures come up maybe a couple degrees
