announcement from a san francisco vaping company overnight. jewel lab says it will now invest $30 million to stop underage vaping. juul makes an e-cigarette that looks like a usb drive. this morning's announcement from juul comes one day after the food and drug administration questioned the design of the small vaping devices. juul says the 30 million will fund research on vaping and an expert panel to fight underage use. the company also says it will support state and federal legislation to raise the minimum age for vaping products up to 21 years old. this morning a livermore man is in jail after police say he robbed a neighbor at gunpoint. a three-hour standoff with police ensued after the man ran back to hide inside his home. sky 7 captured dramatic images of s.w.a.t. officers smashing

windows, using teargas, even drones to try to get the man to surrender. he was taken into custody without any injuries. police believe the suspect was hiding in the attic. the company accused of falsifying soil tests from the navy shipyad is planning to hold a news conference. ten tra tech ceo said a letter insisting the work was done strictly by the book. tetra tech ceo said the form would test for a retesting and said it would take one or two months. earlier this year the navy's preliminary report show nearly half of the data collected by tetra tack was flawed. plans to redevelop the land is on old. 12,000 housing units are proposed. a hostile message posted to women moments before his attack.
