and we still have plenty of cloud cover. you can see the wind from emeryville. in the low 60s around the day, and by 4:00, only in the low 60s. we'll talk about what's going to happen for the second half of the weekend and the week ahead coming up. >> developing news, chaos at a carnival in morgan hill. eight teen-agers are in juvenile hall this morning after what police called a violent encounter. officers were called out to brin middle school because of a person with a knife. they said a crowd of more than 200 juveniles because assaultive. the eight teen-agers are between 13 and 17. police issued a dispersal warning and told parents to get

the sheriff's office says the inmate scaled a tall fence topped with razor wire and then jumped a wooden fence. authorities found him bloody in a creek. he was self-ing his second day of a four-day sentence. >> it's been 20 years since a daly city mother killed her three children. now her family and san mateo prosecutors are trying to prevent her release from prison. she suffered no contest for suffocating her daughters. earlier a panel found her suitable for parole but her family says she's dealt drugs in prison and has never expressed remorse. >> she can still have children. so that's one of my biggest fears. even if she doesn't have children, if she dates someone with children -- because she's

not remorseful and hasn't identified a reason for committing the crimes, what's to stop her from committing the crimes again. >> reporter: they have written to governor brown urging him to reverse the decision. >> a fire broke out at this construction site next to the renaissance apartment complex early tuesday morning. flames and smoke caused about $55 million in damage. atf investigators are still on site trying to determine if arson is to blame. >> firefighters saved several dogs and a nak from a fire in san jose yesterday. another dog received cpr but did not recover at the scene. it was taken to an animal hospital. fire, water and smoke severely damaged the home, displacing two

immediate future with the cloud cover. it's 47 in santa rosa and 54 on the coast. from our exploratorium camera, it's looking like a partly cloudy day today. a few spotty showers, looking at that slight chance lingering into sunday. and cooler-than-average temperatures for the weekend and things begin to rebound by the middle of the week. here we are 4:00, some clouds and also some areas of sunshine. so partly cloudy seems like a good mix today. here we are into sunday and notice still a few lingering showers. it going to take right on through the day sunday for the clouds to continue to decrease. so in terms of amounts, well, we're not looking at much. but as we go through today and tomorrow's totals, looking at just a couple from richmond to oakland, san francisco, looking primarily in the north bay,

maybe a tenth of an inch. most of you probably won't see any at all but the system does look to linger into the second half of the weekend. so in livemore, we should be in the low 70s, 64 today, low 60s tomorrow and then a slight recovery. it looks like it's going to take the middle of the week until we see numbers come above average. in the low 70s, upper 60s today. mid 60s tomorrow so as the system passes, we get even cooler and then looking at that garage trend continuing until the end of the week. average highs about 70. north and south end of the bay, look at that just 63 in santa rosa, 64 in oakland ash limb breezy here along the coast. primarily clouds and the sun mixed today.
