weather. lisa argen as a preview of the accuweather forecast. >> good morning to you. the last weekend of april. we are tracking showers around hayward and fremont, 880, back westward across the san mateo bridge and right around 280, burlingame, and belmont. there is wet pavement out there. we widen the perspective and you can see spotty showers in the hills there and along the coast. so this weak weather system originating from northern california allowing for the dominant cloud cover and perhaps a few sprinkles. the cool numbers, 2 to 3 to 7 degrees cooler this morning compared to yesterday. an interesting view from san rafael where some clouds are arriving in the north bay, 54 san francisco, 55 in oakland. it's in the 50s on the coast. isn't this gorgeous. from walnut creek, good morning to you, partly cloudy skies. we could sit and look at that for a long time, right? 46 santa rosa as well as napa with 53 in concord. your forecast today calls for partly cloudy skies, chance of a

shower throughout the day, and cool temperatures below average. chris? >> lisa, thanks. the house intelligence committee has issued its report on the russia investigation. president trump called it a vindication and said the whole investigation was a total witch-hunt. but the report did find that both trump and clinton campaigns showed poor judgment. abc news' white house correspondent cecilia vegas has more. >> it was a great report. >> reporter: republicans on the house intelligence committee concluding there is, quote, no evidence that the trump campaign concluded, coordinated, or conspired with the russian government. >> no collusion, which i knew anyway, no coordination, no nothing. >> reporter: special counsel robert mueller's probe is still ongoing but this one on capitol hill consumed by political warfare from the start, democrats calling the report

incidents in government vehicles in the last five years but none involved the use of alcohol and he was not found at fault. the records also say jackson successfully passed regular controlled substance audits. he had been accused of handing out drugs on foreign trips without a prescription. he withdrew from the confirmation after allegations of misconduct surfaced. new developments for bill cosby. a judge has ordered the 80-year-old to undergo what's called a sexually violent predator assessment. cosby must also remain in his pennsylvania home and wear a gps monitor until sentencing. dozens of women have accused him of assaulting them, including a former abc7 news employee, janice baker kinney, who shared her feelings about cosby's future on "good morning america" yesterday. >> i just think he deserves to spend an appropriate time, and if that means dying in jail, it won't break my heart.

know what it was. >> reporter: jonathan blum, abc7 news. a repost initiative to repeal the new gas tax could make its way to voters. opponents of the tax say they've collected 900,000 voter signatures which are being verified. that's more than 300,000 over the required number. the 12-cent hike went into effect in november to raise money for road repairs. critics say it was quietly pushed through the legislature without voter approval. >> very confident voters will finally get what they were deprived of before, and that is a right to vote on this tax increase. this gas tax is very unpopular. we can address california transportation needs with our existing revenue right now. the proposed ballot initiative would also require approval by voters for any future gas tax increase. governor brown's office did not comment. happening today, be sure to check your medicine cabinets for
