hours. >> live in alamo with the story tonight. >> one of the latest earthquakes was felt here this morning. it woke some people up around 4:55 a.m. one woman said it felt like something hit her house. it followed other small earthquakes that struck the area over the weekend. >> it had a little rolling and then it was a big jolt. >> this map shows the recent cluster. you can see the earthquakes are centered in or near the valley. there have been 22 in the east bay. over the past week all small. under 4.0 and not all of them are felt. a physicist says this cluster is between two fault lines. and the movement we're feeling could be the result of a transition fault. as you remember there was a cluster in the same area of

danville. back in february. and the physicist said swarms like this are not uncommon in the area. >> there's a small swarm now. and there was a larger swarm in february. at this point coincidence. but the valley has produced earthquake swarms like this. half a dozen times or more since 1970. >> so a lot of people want to know if the small earthquakes could be a sign that the big one is coming. they say no. it should serve as a reminder to be prepared. >> cautionary. now are you ready for the next quake? you can find guidelines for stocking a kit and developing an emergency plan. under prepare nor cal.

>> police announce new arrests of members of a violent south bay street gang. suspected of carjackings, robbery and burglary. these five adults and eleven joouf joou juveniles are held on charges related to those crimes. when the police department first targeted the gang in a major operation. >> back in january we conducted a large scale operation against them and took people into custody. we recovered quite bait of evidence. leading us to these arrests. >> the crimes occurred in late 2017 and early 2018. throughout the bay area. >> sky 7 over pacific state beach. just a short time ago. as you can see crews are ready to pull the 33 foot boat out to sea. during high tide tonight.

at 11:30. the boat ran into trouble saturday night. when the captain says it ran out of feel. during a trip down the coast to san diego. a man driving by is being credited with helping rescue four people. >> working together to stop people from turning station elevators into urinals. the effort is happening in two stations. powell street and civic center. it has been a major complaint of customers. many people in wheelchairs and mothers with strollers. >> we asked bart riders to describe what it's like to get in the elevator at the powell station in downtown san francisco. >> they are stinky. they smell like urine. it's a bathroom. >> gross. very gross. >> snooeft. a new attendant who starting today will spend an entire shift inside this elevator at the station.

was due in court to enter a plea on charges of domestic violence. fosters and his attorney were silent. in court there was a request to continue the case for another week. at the request of the district attorney office. >> they are continuing to review the video tape that was provided to them. >> the video tape was provided by attorney seen here at the hearing. she represents fosters former girlfriend. she accused foster of assault lg her in february. but last week recant td the story. prosecutor wouldn't discuss what's on the video. >> there was a video submitted to the people. out of respect for fosters due process, and for the integrity of the ongoing investigation. it would be inappropriate to comment on the evidence. other than in the courtroom. >> it has been suggested the video shows fosters girlfriend in a fight with a woman.
