matt keller, abc 7 news. new developments on the golden state killer case. the investigator who cracked the case said it's possible he had an accomplice. retired detective believes a second person may have helped deangelo with his crimes. he believes if he had an accomplice only in incidents involving assault, not homicide. the sacramento sheriff disagrees saying deangelo is the only suspect. stunning fall for rising political star. new york attorney general eric schneiderman says he'll leave the office today. four ex-girlfriends came forward with abuse allegations. >> reporter: as new york attorney taken on trump and weinste weinstein, efforts that have stopped, he's been accused of hitting, slapping women he's been intimately involved.

women. we know the name of the woman who died in a rollover crash involving ambulance and another vehicle. an emt and firefighter performing cpr on her sunday inside a moving plans and that's when it was hit by a white sedan in hesperian boulevard. it flipped the plans. four other people were hurt. they will take an autopsy to determine if she died from the crash or what she was being rushed to the hospital for. hey, guys. we do have a new development in the eruption of hawaii's kilauea volcano. lava and toxic gases spewing from two new cracks in the ground near the sock volcano. i want to show you this video from a fissure, you can see this molten lava destroy a car.

it destroyed 35 structures, 26 in homes in the neighborhood right near the volcano. geologists have spotted a dozen fissures so far. >> such a dynamic situation with fissures changing at least daily if not hourly. >> some of the 2,000 people evacuated are being allowed to check on their homes when it's safe. kilauea erupted four days ago. officials say the lava could continue flowing for weeks. you're never more than seven minutes away from my accuweather forecast. start with temperatures, pleasanton 50, san ramon 51, danville 52, everyone else 353 to 57, livermore 52. walnut creek, an area that will reach 80 like yesterday. if you had air conditioner on during the commute you'll need it again. the closer you are to the coast in san francisco, more likely you're going to run into low

clouds this morning for the watch out for that. we also have breezy conditions north of the bay bridge all the way through the delta if you're going to be on a ferry today. mass transit kind of like yesterday, cool to warm. san francisco, 54 at 8:00, some lingering clouds near the coast. the coast will have some clouds while bayside will be mostly sunny. temperatures ranging of 0 to noon all the way through 6:00. that will top out in the low- to mid-60s in some areas around 2:00 an 3:00. let's go down to the south bay where temperatures will be just about the same as yesterday, give or take a degree or two, something you won't notice. you will notice high cloudiness. drop to a comfortable 66 by 8:00. looks like a little bit of discomfort possibly on one of our bridges, maybe early traffic there. what's going on. >> we've got a crash on san mateo bridge, take you back to

westbound 92. this one involving a semi and another smaller sedan. we don't know about any injuries yet. it does sound like everyone out of both vehicles okay and close to the foster city side of the bridge. it is west of the high-rise. emergency crews are just now arriving on the scene. we do know we only have the center lane getting by so the two outside lanes on the left and right side are blocked right now. quickly want to check our camera behind this collision. this is westbound 92 past the toll plaza. if you look all the way up here you can see flashing lights. not a huge back-up yet but definitely keeping a close eye on that one blocking for a long time both lanes that will cause a delay. delays in the cash lanes toll plaza, open you a couple more booths, fasttrack and carpool lanes. next coming up in 10 minutes. >> thanks, alexis. it is rattlesnake season in the bay area. there are a few things you need to know to avoid a dangerous encounter.

springs. 106. also that asterisk, that means we're near a record high in tahoe. now what we're seeing mid to upper 80s through central valley to even 93 in fresno. yesterday 73 in tahoe, just missed a record high of 75. today that 75 is going to just miss a record high of 76. let's take a look at my seven-day forecast if you can. you can see we're up and down. 15 degree swing between today and friday and a little warming on monday. no precipitation. however, sunday and monday, keep an eye on that as rain and thunderstorms could develop. all right. with the warm weather, what do you have, natasha. >> unfortunately we have snakes, mike. as the temperatures warm up, we love it but so do rattle snakes coming out of hibernation. yikes, that sound. we've already seen two snakebites in recent weeks, one near mount tam, one mount diablo.

today not as warm, inland about as warm as you were yesterday. the cooling will reach you tomorrow. summer heat, it's going to be friday and saturday. here is a look at that area of low pressure we've been watching. yes, it moves to the north and unfortunately takes any chance of rain to the north. it deepens the marine layer and brings us a quick cooling trend today and tomorrow. temperatures in the south bay mid to upper 70s. gilroy 83. in san jose about 77. santa cruz sunshine and 76. low- to mid-70s on the peninsula, 68 in millbrae. low sick along the companies. mid-60s downtown and south san francisco, sausalito. mid to upper 70s throughout the valleys. northward 80, 82. east bayshore barely missing 70, 69, everyone else low- to mid-70s. east valleys pleasanton 78 to 85 today in brentwood. notice the cloud cover tonight reaches all the way to the east bay, south bay and north bay.
