area. i'll keep an eye on that. the richmond side of the richmond-san rafael bridge, just a few vehicles heading in that direction. light volume so far. finals for students at sonoma state university will go on as police investigate a fatal stabbing on campus. >> police have arrested a suspect. it happened just before 6:00 last night. the university was not put on lockdown. the suspect and victim are both described as males and college-aged. officials say they don't know whether they're students at sonoma state. grief counselors will be on hand to help students cope with what happened. a sheriff deputy is recovering from injuries he suffered at a confrontation at a sonoma car wash. officers were called to the jolly washer late yesterday morning on reports of an employee acting strange. investigators say the man pulled a gun and shot at an officer,

hitting one, with what they call snake shot. the suspect was quickly arrested. the injured deputy was taken to the hospital and is in good condition. three weeks until people in san francisco head to the polls to vote for their new mayor. over the weekend the race took an ugly turn when someone yelled racial slurs. it was caught on camera. abc's kate larsen has the story. >> we think y'all need to go home. consider this cell phone video shows a woman telling people at an event to go home. the event held at origin club is in supervisor london breed's district. >> we knew they were coming to disrupt. >> he's upset his attempt to discuss san francisco policy turned hostile, with this man yelling a racial insult at

information. uber and lyft are being credited for a decline in dui arrests. there were 2400 fewer arrests two years after ride sharing started. a huge increase in lyft and uber drivers coming through checkpoints. san jose saw a 28% increase in dui arrests or 371 fewer arrests. in san francisco, 70 fewer arrests. that's a 14% decline. >> you're never more than seven minutes away from my accuweather forecast. let's talk about temperatures here in san francisco. running mainly in the low to mid 50s, from 51 in sunny side to the financial, presidio, crissy field, the marina and even excelsior, 53 degrees. here is a look at the bay bridge from south beach. it looks pretty cloudy out there

turkish jet. officials say the turkish jet didn't park where it was supposed to and was sticking into a taxiway. tens of thousands of coffee cans the commission says the lid can detach suddenly if it's missing an air valve. it includes medium and dark roast and decaf nated cans of illy coffee. more bad luck for steve win and his picasso paintings. christies pulled the painting after it show got damaged. no one is saying how the $70 million artwork was damaged. in 2006, he accidentally hit another picasso painting with his elbow leaving a hold in it.
