7:17 am
nevada which had a monopoly on gambling will now have to share the wealth. it took in a record $4.8 billion last year. the leagues had been opposed to changing the law. >> what we have always said is we need to make sure that there's a fine line between team sports gambling and the nfl. we want to protect the integrity of our game and that's the line we will always do. >> it's just amazing. i know that each league had their own policy for players when it came to gambling. but now that it's legal what are they doing to combat that? >> i think players are still going to have a tough time bidding on games because they don't want any integrity issues but these leagues are very worried about things like prop bets, betting on who gets the first free throw, the first pitch, a ball or strike. they don't want anything out there where it's something where a player might be able to manipulate the outcome and you can barely see it as a fan. so i think leagues will fight with states on that, try to make sure they're protected in terms of the integrity of the game. >> is there an absolute ban on players betting? >> there is. >> there is.
