live where you live, this is abc 7 news. middle school students evacuate chasm pampus this morn after gunfire breaks out in the latest school shooting in indiana. a teacher and student are treated for wounds. we don't know the extent of the injuries right now, but we have just learned that a student witnessed a science teacher tackle that suspect, knocking the gun out of his young hands. this morning's shooting happened at a middle school in noblesville, a mid size suburb north of indianapolis. police from several communities raced to the scene after reports of shots fired. one student counted 16 shots. officials talked about the boy they detained afterwards.

>> we believe he is the involved suspect. we have no reason to believe that there is any kind of a threat connected to this incident anywhere else. >> students boarded busses once police determined the campus was safe. the busses took students to a place where they reunited with families. the shooting comes a week after a teenage boy is accused of opening fire at his texas high school killing ten. wearing cuffs and a smile, harvey weinstein leaves a new york city police station this morning charged with rape and sexual assault seven months since allegations against him sparked the me too movement. maggie has details. >> reporter: this morning, harvey weinstein has turned himself in to authorities. >> mr. weinstein will enter a plea of not guilty. >> reporter: surrendering to the police. >> we intend to move very

engulfed, a long cleanup this morning too. as i've been saying, a busier from here as people go to napa for bottle rockndndnd air. abc 7 news reporter, matt keller, is live in san jose with a look at the holiday travel rush, hi, matt. >> reporter: hi, yes, guess what, sprinkles here in san jose, so add that to the traffic we're going to be seeing. we got gas prices that are highest seen in four years for the weekend, but it's not keeping people off the roads or from hopping on an airplane. whistle while you work. okay. it's not exactly a fairy tale at the airport this weekend. mm more than 25,000 passengers are expected to depart today, a new record. that's because the airport has now airlines, flights issue and destinations, and add in the holiday weekend and normally serene experience in san jose becomes more hectic.

i checked in with the ceo, and he's relieved. he was expecting worse weather, so he thinks everything looks good. the gates are about to open for the festival, which is a bit different than all the others. it's tough to decide which is the biggest star at napa's bottle rock festival. the music on five stages or the wine. >> it's almost like coachella meets aspen food and wine, a great competition. what's the best. >> reporter: there's a seller in front of the main stage and expect to go through so much wine, it's stocked offsite just in case. >> we'll sell somewhere between 800 to 1,000 cases of wine we'll pour during the festival. people drink a lot of wine. >> reporter: while they drink, they will be entertained. 36 acts including the killers are performing, explaining the record-fast ticket sales this year. $700, three day vip tickets sold out in tickets. >> i save up for it.

i we worked with pg&eof to save energy because wenie. wanted to help the school. they would put these signs on the door to let the teacher know you didn't cut off the light. the teachers, they would call us the energy patrol. so they would be like, here they come, turn off your lights! those three young ladies were teaching the whole school about energy efficiency. we actually saved $50,000. and that's just one school, two semesters, three girls. together, we're building a better california.

new at 11:00, the city of dublin state of the art recreation and aquatic complex, the wave, will reopen to the public tomorrow. one of its biggest attractions is open, the 48-foot high emerald plunge slide. you're looking at it. it was shut down a year ago after a 10-year-old boy violently careened off the slide. we have video, but it may be difficult to watch. look at that, the boy was not seriously injured. the family sued the ride's maker and city. after the weekend, the park is open daily beginning june 2nd. commuters face major delays following a mishap inside the castro street station. a light rail derailed as it departed at 6:30 this morning. nobody was hurt. now, crews must get the train back on the tracks before service is restored between

church street and west portal stations. >> it's going to have to be a rerail, which, in this case, a fair fairly long process. at least three to four hours. we're focusing about on the train and infrastructure as part of the review. >> muni busses are shuttling customers between church and west portal until the damaged train is removed and tracks deemed safe. customers may see delays on other lines because the agency is diverting busses to help shuttle stranded metro passengers. happening today, passengers can ride bart's now e-bart exnsion to antioch for free. they dedicated the service today. diesel powered passengers 10 miles. there's two new stations on the line. as part of the dedication there's free rides on the e-bart extension from 1:00 this afternoon to 8:00 tonight. regular service begins tomorrow morning. a break for the warriors as they faced elimination in the

now your accuweather forecast with mike nicco. >> not the only ones with wet weather. look at this from heavenly up in lake tahoe. it's wet up there, and there's a flood watch for the green area, one mud slide so far this week, and more are possible. above 8,000 feet, there's a possibility of snow up to 3 inches in the highest peaks, up to 5 inches, and this is possible through 5:00 tomorrow morning. here's a look at my seven-day forecast. quick, headed up to tahoe, snow down to 8,000 feet tomorrow, but finally, the sun comes out, and look at the temperatures, actually warming above average

for monday, tuesday, and wednesday, and cooling back close to average by thursday. the string of thunderstorms just about over up there. back here at home, clouds causing delays at sfo with it being a holiday weekend, call ahead. cool highs today, showers possible. that's the first accuweather highlight. chance of showers lessens overnight, and then there's wild temperature swings. winds are light, barely green in the santa cruz mountains and diablo range to the delta. these are all going to rotate in a counter clock wise fashion with the low on top of us. any time there's a stray light shower, sprinkles up in napa, and overnight, you can see a chance when we wake up at 8:00 tomorrow morning, especially in the santa cruz mountains. breezes tomorrow, brdrier air, increasing sun, but one or two sprinkles possible in the north bay mountains until 6:00, and
