not just a nuisance, scooters became a danger to the public after two men took a joyride on the bay bridge. thank you for joining us, i am ama daetz. >> i am eric thomas. afternoon commuters stunned to see two motorized scooters on the bridge. >> the chp isn't amused. >> reporter: bay bridge is meant for cars and trucks and not these guys. two young men riding their motorized scooters. snarling thursday's afternoon commute. that driver wants to stay anonymous. he expected them to make a right on to harrison, but they kept going onto the bay bridge.

why they wouldn't let them back in. cal fires says trees coming into contact with pg&e fire lines caused four major fires. abc7 news reporters katie utehs is live in the news room. >> reporter: pg&e is lobbying in cramento to change the rulings. latest determination from cal fire show why it shouldn't happen. >> distance requirement from their poles and their wires. if they keep to that distance, there shouldn't be a problem. >> reporter: cal fires investigations show pg&e is in the wrong. cal fire says trees coming into contact with power lines is the cause of four major wildfires in butte and nevada counties.

>> found evidence that determined pg&e failed to remove a tree in the proximity of a fire line. >> reporter: in three of the cases, cal fire says pg&e violated state code. an agency sent its findings to local prosecutors. pg&e wouldn't go on camera with us and instead released the statement. based on the information, we have so far, we belief our overall programs net our state performance. it says the state's policies on wildfire liability are unsustainable. >> they are trying to create that fear so we could change the law and take them off the hook. that's what they are trying to do. >> reporter: hill says as the law stands now, share holders are liable for damages. cal fire has not yet officially determined the cause of the

this is a rescue that stretched over two days. he was waiting for rescue for six days. it is a pet. it's a dog. right in there. when they approached him he may have given up hope. wasn't really interested in getting to know the firefighters. he was 164 feet down. the owner said he was just taking the dog out for the usual walk. he got lost. he went day after day looking for dog. some how he slipped down this cliff. it took him hours to prep for this one firefighter to propel down there and it took time to get the pup to trust them enough. have some food. >> did you notice the ground was all scratched away? >> the dog was try to go
