expanded in the east bay. yesterday was the first official day of service on the new bart extension. the 10 mile stretch has two new stations. the extension costs $525 million. it is designed to help alleviate traffic congestion on highway 4. ant irk och trains run and passengers have to switch trains at the next station after an 11 minute ride. this extension is the first time bart is using train cars that run on renewable diesel. an east bay water slide is back open this holiday weekend. it left a ten-year-old boy injured after he hydro planed and flew all of it last memorial day weekend. the city says the slide is safe. >> for several hours the emerald water slide was empty, no
