the blaze at harvesters market broke out at 3:00 this afternoon and quickly spread. the fire is now under control and lake county sheriff says streets surrounding the market will be closed well into the night. firefighters will stay on the scene looking for hot spots. san jose police say a person has been stabbed if an apartment building elevator. on saddle rack street and the victim has been taken to the hospital. no word on injuries. around the bay area on this memorial day, solemn ceremonies saluting those who lost their lives. >> reporter: this is now the 150th anniversary of memorial

that plane went down sunday afternoon near the airport. the plane was taking off and may have returned to the airplane. laura anthony found out new details what happened before the crash. >> mayday, mayday -- >> reporter: it happened in a matter of seconds a plane crash that killed a couple from car michael. >> we need emergency services a s sap. >> the power stalled. and it doesn't sound right. >> reporter: o'brian shot this video. the plane suddenly banked to the right as if to try to return to the airport. but instead it twirled to the ground. the sister of the pilot identifies them as richard and sue bristol from carmichael.

loading lithium batteries is a good fire safety too. lithium batteries have been blamed for fires in hover boards, vape pens and smartphones. and now being singled out for concern. separated out by chemistry. >> the ones that are more concerned are the lithium ion because they are rechargeable. so it is difficult to identify when they have run all the energy that they have in them. >> reporter: that is where the problems begin. carl smith ceo and president of the not-for-profit call to recycle, the country's largest battery recycle program. >> a perfectly fine laptop battery that is no longer useful
