tomorrow. let's check in with meteorologist drew tuma in for sandhya patel. hi, drew. >> hi, alma. yeah, we soared into the 80s and 90s. it was a warm afternoon. and we're hanging on to some of that warmth tonight. highs today, hot across the board no matter where you live. out the door tomorrow morning it will be a mild start. sunny skies, we are all starting in the 50s if not close to 60 degrees in some inland cities. future tracker temperatures midday, well into the 70s and 80s if not close to 90 in some of our warm est spots tomorrow. it's sue hot day on the way tomorrow, but by wednesday major changes do arrive. we'll have all the details in that full accuweather forecast in a few minutes. >> we'll see you then, drew. thank you. two teenagers were taken to the hospital after a surf rescue at ocean beach in happened that happened before 5:00. the san francisco fire department received a call of two teenage girls in distress. the girls had already been pulled out of the water when rescuers got to the scene. medics were able to determine

the two will be okay. >> a firefighter was air lifted to a sacramento burn center after he was hurt while battling a blaze at a beloved lake county market. this afternoon's fire in middletown gutted harvesters market and hardware store. a witness sent this video showing flames consuming the entire store. it is believed to be a total loss. the market had been serving customers since 1943. >> we now know the names of the two people killed in a plane crash in petaluma yesterday afternoon. the sister of the pilot identifies them as richard and sue bristo of carmichael outside of sacramento. richard worked as a real estate agent. a witness tells abc7 news the van's rv 6 airplane was maybe 800 feet in the air when the engine back fired and the plane suddenly banked to the right as if it was trying to return to the airport but instead it rapidly went down. >> starbucks is following through on its promise to close 8,000 stores tomorrow afternoon so employees can undergo racial bias training.

abc7 news kate larson has the story. >> reporter: signs up at starbucks explaining stores will be closing early tuesday for racial bias and diversity training. the half day closure was announce the after this video of police arrested two black men in a philadelphia starbucks in april caused outrage. the staff called 911 after the men who didn't buy anything asked to use the rest room while they waited for a friend. those two men told abc's robin roberts they want to see long-term change. >> it's not just a black people thing. this is a people thing. and that's exactly what we want to see out of this. that's true change. >> how far can they change in one afternoon of training? >> reporter: marcy a is visiting from london. news about the philly arrest made its way across the pond. >> i guess it's a good thing they're trying to change people's attitudes, but how far can you change the attitude of every single person? it will still be there. sne >> reporter: michelle lives in the bay area. she's taken the same training. she hopes the same valuable

in polk county, north carolina when a tree fell on their news van. an nbc affiliate wiff said mike and aaron were beloved members of our team, our family. >> states of emergency have been declared for florida, alabama and mississippi because of the storm. and in maryland, one community is facing its second devastating flash flood in two years. abc7 news reporter danya bacchus has the latest. >> reporter: the official start of the hurricane season is a few days away, but subtropical storm alberto is already bringing heavy downpours and powerful winds to the gulf coast. the storm making land fall monday afternoon, its out band spouting a tornado outside port saint lucy. sending this trampoine into the air. florida's governor warning residents. >> be very, very, very careful out there. if you're needing to travel, make sure you're cautious about that. >> reporter: and in maryland -- >> people trapped. there's people in every building. >> reporter: flood waters once

again ripping through ellicott city. more than 8 inches of rain falling in three hours. 300 people were rescued. a couple dozen from high danger situations. and tonight -- >> just swept him away. >> reporter: the search continues for 39-year-old maryland national guards man edison har mond who went missing after helping a woman find her cat during the flood. this is being called a thousand-year storm, but it is the second one in two years. local officials say this one was worse than 2016. many businesses were just recovering. >> we are going to rebuild. we've been down this road. we know the story and we're rebuilding. >> reporter: danya bacchus, abc news, los angeles. >> all plastic products, swabs, cutlery, has to be approved with all member states. it would force countries to add a fee for plastic food, containers and cups.

up by friday and into the upcoming weekend. numbers out there right now, we're holding on to some of that warmth we had earlier today. still 71 right now in concord, 69 in san jose, a comfortable 60 in oakland. we're down to 59 in san francisco. and napa checking in at 61 degrees. so, here's the call. over the next 12 hours, it will be a rather mild night out there. some spots will hold in the lower 60s under clear skies. most of us on the bay shoreline dropping into the mid if not upper 50s for your starting temperatures on your tuesday. so, your 12-hour day planner, the only issue you have early on tomorrow morning is bad sun glare. it's sunshine from start to finish. midday already warming up rather quickly away from the coast into the 70s and into the 80s. and by 4:00 once again in the afternoon, it will be warm. 80s and 90s the name of the game in our warm est spots once again. so, tomorrow 75 in oakland tomorrow afternoon. it's warm in the south bay. 81 is for san jose. san francisco a little bit of an afternoon sea breeze kicking in. 69 your high tomorrow, 83 in

santa rosa. 80 at the high in fairfield and 80 the high in palo alto. if you're lucky enough to hit the beaches tomorrow, a nice beach day. not as warm as it was today, but tomorrow mid 60s to lower 70s. a lot of sunshine out there. the uv index running high. ocean water temperature still chilly at 55 degrees. then the change occurs on wednesday. future tracker temperatures much cooler air moves in here. look at that, we wipe away the 80s and the 90s. more like 60s and 70s by wednesday afternoon. and then even cooler air pushes in here on thursday where some cities thursday afternoon are even going to struggle to get out of the 60s. even thursday morning we may have a little bit of coastal drizzle to deal with. we have a lot of changes the next couple days. the accuweather seven-day forecast, the warmth is going to hold on here tomorrow. lots of sunshine in the afternoon. wednesday the marine layer returns. it's a sharp cool down. we're talking 60s and 70s. thursday some morning drizzle but even cooler air arrives. if you're heading to oracle for game one going to want to have the jacket with you.
