from hollywood and taking down one of the hitest rated shows on tv with her. overnight, she seems to blame the racist tweet on ambien. outrage began after tweeting this. muslim brotherhood and planet of the apes had a baby equals vj referring to valerie jarrett. jarrett responded on >> i'm fine. >> reporter: barr said my joke was in bad taste. within hours abc pulled the plug. chairman and president of disney saying there was only one thing to do here, the right thing. but today president trump is firing back directly calling out the ceo for contacting jarrett about the comments but saying, quote, gee, he never called president trump to apologize for the horrible statements said and made about me on abc. >> what has happened to you?

treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any medication. duelling -- in a sexual assault case. supporters of the measure held their rally at this morning in front of the law office of the lawyer. meantime, a no recall rally this afternoon in front of the county recorder's office in downtown san jose. the judge may attend and speak at the rally. the recall effort sparked by a six-month sentence of brock turner for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman. harvey weinstein won't testify before a new york grand jury. he is accused of rape and other sex charges. weinstein's spokesperson issued a statement this morning saying there wasn't enough time to prepare his client to testify. weinstein turned himself in friday. his request for more time was

denied. the school district superintendent is under scrutiny again after the last night's school board meeting and remains the superintendent for now. but state lawmakers are calling for investigations into alleged fraud of a no-bid contractor that the district hired to do millions of dollars in construction work. the santa clara county d.a. has an open investigation, as well. some parents say school board members may be ones with something to hide. >> we have a superintendent doing a phenomenal job and doing her job and bullying her because she's doing her job. >> the school board president said if there's an issue it would have come out by now. a long and frustrating morning commute in the east bay. a big rig spilled 70 gallons of diesel feel on southbound interstate 680. you can see the traffic resulting just before the 580 connector and hours to fully clean up. matt keller has the story.

>> reporter: you think you had a rough morning? the driver of this big rig to watch the fuel tank removed from the truck on a freeway. he told chp officers he heard a loud noise driving southbound on 680 just before al costa boulevard 2:10 this morning causing him to lose control. >> because the driver had swerved and hit the center divide and what happened before that we can't -- we're not going to be able to tell and he hit the center divide wall and definitely cracked it and dropped it off of the side of the truck. >> reporter: the driver was okay and 70 gallons of diesel fuel spilled before the truck stopped. chp blocked off two lanes and the exit lane for two and a half hours before cal trans arrived to clean up. chp gave the sweepers a chance t clean up the far left lanes. traffic for miles. once the sweepers were down in the three left lanes, they were reopened and the three right
