plotting an attack on his east bay school. >> new court documents showing the student police arrested at california high school wanted a columbine-like massacre. abc 7 news the reporter amy hollyfield live this morning. >> reporter: according to a new report, the student wanted to use the same guns the columbine shooters used. he wanted to carry this out on the same date, april 20th, 1991. he called this attack columbine 2.0. according to "san jose mercury" news, police have a report saying they searched the boy's home and found a tactical vest, toy shotgun, handwritten notes and digital data. police say the boy, who has been arrested, met with another student and tried to recruit him. that student told a soo officer. school administrators at california high school commended that stu for coming forward. the student told police there

were six kids that the freshman wanted to kill. police say they interviewed him after taking into custody, and he admitted to hating three of those kids. the kid is in custody. he has not been identified because he is a juvenile. live in san ramon, amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. >> thank you, amy. zuckerberg san francisco general hospital is implicating security changes after a woman's body was found in a stairwell. 75-year-old ruby lee anderson lived in a residential care facility on the hospital's campus. she went missing may 20th. it's not known how long she had been in the stairwell of the hospital's power plant. it's protocol to search every hospital building if a patient is reported missing, but the power plant wasn't searched because anderson wasn't considered a patient. no badge was needed to get into the building during certain hours. the hospital has now instituted a 24-7 security badge access policy. 4:34 now. we may find out today whether

san francisco police chief william scott will leave us and return to los angeles to become the new chief of lapd. chief scott is reportedly one of three finalists for the job now. in early may rumors began swirling he may be a candidate for lapd's top job after its police chief, charley beck, announced his retirement at the end of the year. mayor eric garcetti says he's had several interviews with all three finalists. a heads-up if you're going to las vegas over the weekend. 25,000 union workers in the city threatening to go on strike. their contract ended at midnight. things are starting to take shape. i have good news from our abc station in las vegas that overnight workers did reach an agreement with cesar's entertainment which is a really big step forward. it includes baggage handlers, maids and cooks. the last time there was a citywide strike it was in 1984, lasting 67 days, costing nearly

to 15 degrees warmer than average saturday through thursday. >> mike, thank you. 442, north bay fire victims will get little if any help because of a full frontal assault by the insurance industry. two bills that would have helped fire victims underinsured fell victim to powerful lobbying. one bill would have made companies pay out nearly 80% without requiring policyholders to itemize their losses. the bill was a response to local fire survivors who argue that compiling a list of lost items proved too burdensome and dramatic. the warriors are warning people, don't fall for ticket scams. fraudulent sales last year jumped 70% during the finals. during this year's regular season, more than 800 fans were denied access because of the counterfe counterfeit tickets.

temperature starts at 62, down to a cool 57. you don't have to worry about the infamous breezes tonight. happening today, the opening ceremony for the sixth annual valor games west. the games feature wounded warriors in various sporting competitions like archery, cycling and power lifting. this is video from last year's games. more than 100 will participate this year. coast guard island is the site of the games. opening ceremony begins at 11:00 this morning. several warriors including steph curry, kevin durant and swag gi p will open three new play spaces. >> the new spaces are at the boys and girls club of san leandro. warriors players will join for several activities including african dance class, a science class and video games. >> you'll be able to retake your driver's license photo for a fee under a bill just approved by the state senate. the measure will let you take up to three photos at $5.00 each.
