inland. definitely going to notice the difference. have a good evening with temperatures in the mid 50s to upper 60s. i want to take you back to our traffic alert.% it is now a sig alert in milpitas. we have all lanes blocked on northbound 608 just before you get to jacklin road. a three-vehicle collision happened about 20 minutes ago. we have injuries reported. they are calling for at least a couple tow trucks to the scene. they're saying they hope to get lane number one open shortly, the far left lane should be opening. but for now no one can get through. you can use 880 or milpitas for an alternate. a quick look at the bay bridge toll plaza, quite a stackup forming on the right side of the plaza. we'll look at drive times coming up next. two more wins until another championship comes to the bay. >> i like your optimism. the warriors took care of business at home winning game two last night. did you see steph break a record? >> gets off the three. got it.

>> the yosemite climbing association president tells "the new york times" he was no doubt something weird happened. this is the second deadly climbing incident over the last two weeks in yosemite. abc 7's kate larsen has more. >> reporter: tim klein and jason wells fell 1,000 feet to their death saturday morning. >> they were on one of the easiest parts of the route and something weird happened. >> reporter: brady robinson, one of jason wells' best friends spoke to us from boulder, colorado. he climbed el cap a few years ago with wells and klein. this time the pair were with kevin prince who was climbing below. >> for instance he unclipped and was doing something. we don't know what. when they fell, they weren't connected. he was completely unaware of what happened. >> their accident occurred right here. >> reporter: yosemite climber

hans fell 20 feet down the granite cliff and broke both his legs. more than 100 climbing accidents occur in yosemite every year. he worries the recent spate of accidents will scare people off climbing. >> i understand what it looks like to people out there that two people just died and hear i am with broken legs and i'm one of the most experienced people at el capa. i can't say this is my first broken bone in 35 years of climbing. >> reporter: klein's wife says she believes an engineer bag fell from above and caused the accident. kate larsen, abc 7 news. 5:06 now. take a look at this police sketch. this man is wanted for trying to kidnap a woman. deputies say he grabbed a woman from behind as she put items in her car at pinto lake park. the woman screamed and managed to break away. this morning about a dozen people are stranded in hawaii

because of the ongoing kilauea volcan volcanic eruption. officials say some residents refuse to leave their homes in the ka poe hoe nab yesterday. the abc affiliate kitv reports at least four people were air rifted out of the area yesterday morning. i can del you that right now officials are on standby to rescue more people. meanwhile a magnitude 5.5 earthquake hit the summit yesterday afternoon, send that ash 8,000 feet into the air. at least 87 homes have been destroyed. i'll get you an update as soon as we get it. happening today, first lady melania trump expected to m a since a procedure to treat a kidney condition. a the gold star family reside

cavaliers is on wednesday in cleveland. we're going to have our pregame show at 5:00, abc coverage at 5:30. tip-off at 6:00. stay with us for "toyota after the game." this morning a 13-year-old girl is recovering from what appears to be a rattle snake bite. park officials say she was hiking with friends on mt. diablo when she put her hand on a rock, a snake slithered out and bit her. her hand started to swell. she was flown to john mere medical center. rangers say they've been seeing more rattle snakes than usual. a modesto man accused of a san francisco terror plot will return to federal court to answer a guilty plea. we reported in april that edward aaron jamison is reported to plan to plead guilty. he had plans to kill tourists at pier 39. a federal madge straelt found that he appears to have a mental

health condition. look at this stunning new video we have. at least 25 people are dead after a volcanic eruption in guatemala. this morning authorities saying they don't know how many people are missing from this. crews are searching for more bodies. the volcano of fire exploded around noon, triggering mud flows down the mountain. you see mud actually taking over a bridge in this area. lava is creeping towards villages covered in ash. this volcano is located 25 miles southwest of the capital of guatemala city. the country's main airport is shut down right now. i'll bring you updates throughout the newscast when i get them. a bold statement from president trump's lawyer, rudy giuliani. he says the president's power is so broad the president could have, hypothetically, shot former fbi director james comey in the oval office and not be prosecuted for it. giuliani told the "huffington
