good morning. thanks for joining us on this sunday, june 10th. let's start with a quick look at the weather with our meteorologist, lisa argen. >> it's beautiful out there. high clouds and temperatures are coming up. here is a look at live doppler 7. as we look at the beach and santa cruz folks out there upper 50s going for low 70s. we see the flag gently blowing. that sea breeze kicking up throughout the day. 63 santa rosa with 62 in cncord. we're a bit cooler this morning due to that clear start. no marine layer with us.

season is under way in san francisco. it's the 41st fair. thousands of people are expected. the fair features more than 200 booths with food and jewelry. they will also be two stages with live music. the fair runs from 11:00 until 5:30 this afternoon. great weather for getting out doors. >> we're fine tuning it. bringing out more sun. trying to peel back some of that gusty wind. it's in the low 60s for concord and danville. we will have a beautiful day in the city for the fair but the wind is still factor. what about your neighborhood? we'll talk about it in a few minutes. the newest station of the north bay smart train is right

elections tweeted it's still processing provisional ballots. approximately 42,000 ballots still need to be counted. they should have an update this afternoon around 4:00. this morning investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that burned two homes in san mateo. abc 7 news was at the scene near san mateo high school after crews brought the fire under control. it began inside a home on north el dorado street and spread to a house behind it on north delaware street. firefighters evacuated several homes. they feared the flames could damage other structures. >> it was kind of scary. sg officials say fortunately no one was injured. the red cross is providing assistance for two residents who had been displaced by the fire. sonoma county issued a scathing report about the readiness of officials during

the north bay fire. it found the public warning systems technology is out dated. if emergency management program is under resourced and understaffed. leadership roles are not made clear. very few staff members who are assigned roles during a disaster have completed the recommended emergency training. staff at the emergency operation center which was the central location for the fire response lacked situational awareness, m impacting response coordination and planning. there were problems communicating with external fire agencies during fire. there's not enough trained staff members and in some cases they're not aware of existing emergency response plans. as for the public information hotline, it was not properly

equipped or staffed during the fires and did not have enough non-english speakers. each issue has a recommended solution and supervisors will vote on the recommendations tomorrow. this afternoon the oakland a's will host north bay day. the a's have handed out free tickets to 3,000 north bay residents. they will also recognize firefighters and first responders before the game. the a's players will take the field with members of santa rosa's mark west little league team. a pop up store is attracting brides looking for bargains in san francisco. yesterday abc 7 news was out when hundreds of gentle worn bridal gowns went on display at the good will store. the pop up features low prices along with personal shopping services that you usually would expect at high end boutique pps one young lady was shopping for

i talked about the winds. you'll notice the colors here. anywhere from 10 to 25 miles an hour winds throughout the day. we're taking you through just about sunset and it is still breezy out there. we have that begun today. tomorrow those winds slacking off. that's why we've got 80s inland to near 90 by the delta. 70s around the bay. about the only place on tuesday l be cool right at the coast. half-moon bay. these pinks indicating temperatures well into the 90s. be advised of that. into wednesday, only cooling at the shoreline. we're looking at a very warm day on tuesday for the warriors parade. that getting going in the morning. it will be comfortable. 66 today in san mateo.

california's great america is opening a new single rail coaster this week. the amusement park calls the rail blazer the first coaster of its kind on the west coast. featuring a single rail track throughout. riders straddle the rail creating a low center of gravity that amplifies every single move. it reflects an off road adventure and calls on the great roads of california. it opens thursday at 10:00 in the morning. lisa will be the first in line. you know it. you're next to me. a beautiful day to take it easy if you'd like to. temperatures are going up. the winds are calm but they will get breezy to windy at the coast.
