previous commissions to move the statue to storage. the board of appeals plans to hold a rehearing sometime this summer. from our live desk this morning, secretary of state mike pompeo says there will be no sanction relief for north korea until kim jong-un completely denuclearizes. in fact, just a short while ago, pompeo met with south korea and japan's foreign ministers in seoul. he also pushed back that they agreed to a step by step process of denuclearization in exchange for sanction relief. >> he's done some really bad things. >> so have some other people have gone through a really bad things.h a lot of nations where a lot of bad things were done. >> this agreement didn't give

details on how and when north korea will denuclearize. it's unclear this morning how the u.s. will verify north korea's compliance. back to you. jessica, thank you. happening today, the justice department is releasing a report on the fbi handling of the hillary clinton e-mail investigation. the report will address key moves by former fbi director james comey. first, when he publicly announced his recommendation against prosecuting clinton and when he told congress days before the 2016 election. the investigation was being revived because of newly discovered e-mails. new details on the next phase of renovations at the presidio parkway. construction for a new green space that would go above the tunnels is expected to begin by october. the tunnel tops park is expected to open in early 2021. the preside i don't trust says it will consist of three play meadows with great views of the golden gate bridge. mike, i was looking at artistic renderings of this. it's going to be pretty spectacular. >> i like hearing that, reggie.

let's see what bud is up to this morning at 4:41. continued to weaken overnight even though it has good symmetry there. it's a tropical storm with 45-mile-per-hour winds. it's going to be a little breezy in cabo san lucas, up to three inches of rain which is a lot for them. it drops down to 35-mile-per-hour winds as it rolls across the baja and heads into the mainland. then it starts to go up and bring much-needed rain to par chd areas of the four corners region. back at home, 89 in yosemite, 91 in sacramento. the cooling gets there, but not to fresno at 101 or palm springs at 108. los angeles 81 and san diego 74. here is a look at my accuweather seven-day forecast. active father's day through wednesday with a chance of thunderstorms each and every day. >> mike, i'm going to jump in from the live desk. i want to show you video of severe weather across the country.

a possible tornado touching down in northeast pennsylvania, and this morning the national weather service officials will assess the damage. police in wilkes-barre township said multiple buildings collapsed. downed trees and power lines and overturned cars. emergency officials say at least six people were hurt. i also want to show you on the west coast. this is what we're dealing with. 43 wildfires burning in 12 states including here in california. the largest fire is this one in colorado where more than 26,acres have burned. right now more than 3,000 people have been evacuated because of wildfires. reggie? >> thank you, jessica. a new study suggests the napa earthquake may have been caused by a stretching of the earth's crust because of receding groundwater. the 6.2 magnitude quake in august of 2014 killed a person and injured several more and caused more than $500 million in damage. according to the ror land between the napa and sonoma valleys is stretched each summer

expecting the cooling trend to go through saturday. there's a little dip in the cloud cover. that's a cold front moving to our north and sliding awful to our east. because of that it's inducing that sea breeze to roll on in. you can see the clouds along the peninsula coast, but they'll evaporate leaving us with mostly sunny conditions by noon all the way through the afternoon and early evening hours. temperatures today more manageable from 76 in milpitas to gilroy at 85. in the peninsula, we start in the upper 70s and drop down to about 71 degrees in mill bay. low to mid 60s along the coast today to upper 60s to near 70 i and sausalito. low to mid 80s through most of the northbound. 92 in cloverdale. mid to upper 70s along the east bayshore with oakland at 73. as we head inland, mid 80s to upper 80s. antioch and brentwood, they'll make it to 90. the cloud cover a little more
