o saturday officers stopped a group of men for having open containers of alcohol at the corner of grant and vallejo in north beach. one of the men, oliver ba seen nas ran from officers and tossed a loaded pistol before an officer shot him striking him two times in the back. >> we have limited facts right now. it's very difficult. people want answers. that's the purpose of all these investigations. our purpose is to be transparent. >> police have yet to release the name of the officers involved. bar seen nas remains in the hospital. this is the second time in six years he's been shot by sfpd. we've posted it on our website, abc7news.com. the trump administration is digging into its controversial immigration policy this morning. now it's citing the bible as a defense for its actions. in a speech in indiana yesterday attorney general jeff sessions cited romance 15 which tells the

could not attend. melly woodrow, abc 7 news. a new report on the hillary clinton investigation says former fbi chief james comey was insubordinate in handling the case. the report blasts him for reopening the case just 11 days before the presidential election. the report says comey wasn't motivated by politics, but his actions damaged the bureau. the report also slams multiple fbi employees for sending politically charged text messages. hillary clinton says this november will be the election that finally turns the tooitd against the gun lobby. she spoke to gun control advocates last night. she received the award from the giffords law center to prevent gun violence. former congressman gabrielle giffords also spoke briefly and told supporters their voice matters. survivors of the parkland high

school shooting in february also attended the event. b.a.r.t.'s board of directors has postponed the decision to catch fair cheats. they will decide until the fall whether to hire two additional officers. important to note, b.a.r.t. is not going to end the enforcement effort which began in march. officials say so far the program has issued 1600 citations in the first three months. firefighters are trying to determine what sparked a fire in the oakland hills that burned a shed and the surrounding vegetation. it broke out around 6:30 south of the caldecott tunnel. the fire did burn for about an hour. the smoke it produced could be seen for miles. no one was hurt the threat of wildfires is leading to a ban on burning leaves and other debris in parts of the bay area. starting on monday, cal fire will start issuing burn permits

for the peninsula, even cooler, 61 at 8:00. low to mid 70s through 4:00 and 64 by 8:00 even with sunshine. our last stop will be the south bay where we started with about 60 at 8:00. mid to upper 70s through 5:00. you'll also be a little cool at 8:00 and 67 degrees. yesterday everybody wanted to hear from you. it was pretty quiet on the roads. >> i think today will be even quieter. we actually have a couple rollover crashes we're talking about this morning. neither one causing any big delays. the first one was in the tracy area off the 205. this was northbound 101, on west from mark west springs is currently closed to the lighter side of 101 on the northbound side. it sounds like chp already out there on the scene. we do have minor injuries reported. but again, no delays as you approach that scene. i will keep an eye on that. i don't think that's going to cause any significant delays. this is the richmond side of the

currently blocked. it happened just about ten minutes ago. it is a sig alert. we or not sure about injuries. they're rolling an am plans to the scene and calling for a heavy-duty tow truck. any time you have a semi to get cleared out that has damage, it's usually a several-hour-long ordeal. a little good news here, you can use dublin canyon road, the surface road just south of the interstate is still wide open. you definitely should use that instead. right now we're not seeing very long delays for 580 -- from 680, that will grow. a quick check of the bay bridge toll plaza, we have a stackup in the cash lanes. no metering lights yet. that's about 30 minutes away. happening today, the newly renovated mirra pose is a grove officially opens. the park celebrating this $40 million project. crews spent the last three years restoring the 250 acre grove.
