>> the main issue stayed the same all morning, south 880, a three-car crash involving a rollover. the good news is, about ten minutes ago all lanes did open back up. the residual delays are heavy from north of state route 348. we have another crash around 880 and state route 92 connector. sounds like that's in the clearing stages, too. here is the golden gate bridge. a little cloudiness and haziness. but no major slowdowns. we'll take a look at drive times coming up at 6:10. >> this is what's left after a series of fires ignited in santa rosa over the weekend. this morning officials say an arsonist could be on the loose. tey want your help in tracking down the suspect. abc 7 news reporter amy hollyfield live in hayward this morning. the last thing these folks want to see.

>> reporr: they're a very anxious. fire officials say they kno that. this is station number 10 in southwest santa rosa. they say there were up to 13 fires in two hours. they were all very small. they were all grass fires along the santa rosa creek tail near north dutton avenue. officials say no one was hurt and no structures were burned. investigators say they do believe they are all connected. >> suspicious activity, obviously, because of the number of sets in the short amount of time in a very small proximity. >> reporter: no arrests have been made. they think the person doing this is using a butane lighter and is traveling around on a bicycle. firefighters say they are aware of how nervous the ncommunity i. they say they've changed their response a bit. they are quicker now to call for help from other agencies. they say they knocked these fires out pretty quickly. they're also asking that the

community report anything out of the ordinary, especially along that trail. live in santa rosa, amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. >> amy, thank you. a trifecta of firefighting agencies contained two separate grass fires south of pleasanton, alameda, cal fire and livermore pitched in to knock down the flames sunday afternoon. the fires burned a total of about 60 acres along highway 84. chp officers also closed some lanes of highway 84 in the pigeon pass area at the height of that firefighting work. hpening today, if you're in the south bay and you see smoke in the san jose area, it is probably coming from joseph d. grant county park. cal fire is planning to do a controlled burn to clear hundreds of acres of brush in the park. fire officials say people in san jose and the southern part of santa clara valley will be able to see the motor vehicle today and likely into tomorrow as well. nancy pelosi will be at the

u.s.-mexico border for a firsthand look at president trump's zero-tolerance policy policy that has resulted in separating nearly 2,000 from their parents so far. some children are being placed in converted warehouses in texas. at least five members of congress plan to visit two of the shelters today. president trump will discuss immigration proposals tomorrow with members of congress. lawmakers are expected to take them up this week. most people know about hospitals run by the veterans administration. fewer may be aware that the agency also runs nursing homes. recently released documents show nearly half of those nursing homes receive the lowest score possible in health quality. four of those homes are in california and they are -- i'm sorry. it's missing. the v. a. kept the statistics from public view denying veterans critical health care information. the stats were released after the question of secrecy from "usa today." thousands of bay area homes could be under water by 2045

according to a new report. marin county would be the hardest hit with nearly 4400 homes flooded. san mateo at 41900 homes. more than 20,000 homes at risk due to rising sea levels. the report was put together by the union of concerned scientists. results from retesting of samples from the hunter's point land will be available next month. it will cost $250 the u.s. navy will be paying for it. two whistleblowers admitted faking samples and falsified reports. they worked for tech tra tech who was hired to clear up toxic waste from the site. the audi ceo, rupert stadler was detained by german authorities. it's all related to that

an suv that crashed killing five people was involved in a smuggling operation. all were undocumented immigrants. agents saw the vehicle traveling with two others on a rural highway about 25 miles from the mexico border. agents pulled two cars over. the third vehicle led agents on a chase and went out of control at more than 100 miles an hour. it was packed with mo14 people. parents in san francisco and along the peninsula are creeped out and warning other families about a man who likes to take photos of kids he doesn't know. >> the most recent accident happened this weekend at the san mateo county fair. matt keller live at san mateo police headquarters this morning. good morning, matt. >> good morning, natasha and reggie. san mateo police say they're still investigating this man who claims to be an amateur photographer. they say so far it doesn't appear he's done anything illegal. >> he didn't ask permission. he didn't make it known he was taking pictures.

abc 7 news. now a live desk update. >> here at the live desk, keeping my eye on things in japan. three people are dead after a 6.1 magnitude quake hit the country. look at this new video from overnight. sadly one of those victims was a 9-year-old school girl. she died when a concrete wall at the school fell douchblt two other deaths were men in their 80s. hundreds of others were injured. the quake was centered in osaka in western japan. it happened early in the morning as commuters were heading to work. there are reports of several more deaths. those have not been confirmed yet. tens of thousands of people are without power and water. schools across the country are closed for fear that more damage could hurt more kids. i'll let you know if we get anything before 7:00 a.m. >> voter turnout from the june 5th primary is expected to exceed numbers from the lad
