all the locks. >> reporter: head baseball coach eric harsh believes thieves knew exactly what they were doing when they stole thousand of dollars worth of soccer and babe gear from storage sheds. >> we're missing all of our baseball bats, all of our two sets of catchers gear. >> reporter: they managed tore steal this truck and wood chipper worth about $100,000 from a tree trimming company working at the school next door. beyond the stolen equipment, there is damage to the field which could take a year to repair. it happened when the thieves drove the stolen truck off the field. the field is used by baseball leagues all over the bay area and the hole field for oakland tech's baseball team. >> it's my life. i'm out here pretty much every day. >> reporter: julian garrett will be a junior on tech's varsity team next year. a non-profit called field of dreams built the field years ago. now players earn money to cover team coughs like all the equipment which was take.
