we have sunny skies you ased across the bay area opinion. and the change in temperatures is it is dramatic. most locations are about 8 to 12 degrees warmer right now than they were this hour yesterday. look at how many current temperature readings are around 100 degrees. 101 at clover dale. 9 at brentwood and san ramon opinion 97, 9 at many other locations. we have 80s around the bay. moving along, i'll show you we have a heat advisory in effect tomorrow until 8:00 tomorrow night for possibility of heat illness, virtually all of the bay area is covered by the advisory except san francisco and the coastline. if you get close to the coastline you have a better chance of noinling some comfortable and more healthful conditions. red flag warning for high fire dangers in effect tomorrow and sunday. for solano and lake counties and for the hills and mountains of the east bay and the north bay. and the air quality will be poor. many locations tomorrow it's a pair the air day. i'll give you a closer look at

had to do something. >> the demonstrators will express themselves through marches, protests and prayer vigils and plan to make voices heard peacefully. in san francisco, amy holleyfield, abc 7 nuts. with abc 7 news and abc7news.com you can watch as cheryl goes behind thelines headlines to bring you the story of the crisis at the border. two men are now charge in the first homicide in sand leonardo this year. the alameda county district attorney charged 23-year-old michel mendoa within roche with murder they got into a fight with 25-year-old man and his 36-year-old coworker late tuesday. smith died at the scene and the other man is in critical condition. it's not clear what led up to the fight. san francisco policy are trying to figure out what led up to a deadly shooting in the mission district. the shot spotter system led officers to harrison and 24th around 2:30 this morning. they found two men shot.

well, the warm weather will be perfect for san francisco pride weekend. kicking off tonight with the annual trans rally and march. abc 7 news anchor dion lim is live in dolores park to give us a look at what we can expect this weekend. dion. >> reporter: hey there, dan. this is where it kicks off for pride weekend. this is the trans march beginning at 6:00 here at dolores park. and already we can smell the grilling hotdogs in the air and hear the music be played. and for the 7,000 participants this time they have a decidedly different message they want to send to the world. as a million people from around the world descend on san francisco for pride weekend, many come from less diverse

officials are testing this bus near the dublin pleasanton bus station. the transit authority showed it off today. you can't hop on it quite yet. but the eventual goal is to make it easier to get to the station from nearby homes and businesses. >> it can buzz around, work 24/7. fully electric. so we have zero emissions for cleaning air. >> tests continue for the next two or three years. compact routes haven't been finalized. the routine is about to change at least temporarily for riders on a popular immuny line. on monday the 100-year-old twin peaks tumble will be shut down two months as crews perform needed repairs. there will no train service at the west polarle and forrest hills station. buses will run in place of montana. in ocean view and l terraville train lines. there will be other disruptions as well.

triple digit temperatures through the inland area processes high fire danger accompanies the weather tomorrow along with reduced air kwult. a spare the air day. good news is cooling begins sunday. big time cooling. but overnight clear skies low temperatures from low 50s at the bay at the coast rather to mid-and upper 50s near the bay. and some inland areas will see lows dropping only to the mid-60s, locations like antioch and concord. on to tomorrow's highs. look for 79 in san francisco. over in the inland east bay 103 at fairfield and concord 104 at antioch and livermore up in the north bay 104 at clover dale. 106 at ukiah. and down at morgan hill a, a high of 102 is likely. we'll see upper 80s and low 90s around the bay shoreline process and numerous locations on the coastline we'll have highs in the 70s. the beach forecast calls for lovely weather for the beach. however, the uv index will be extremely high. so that poses health risks along

with possibility of strong rip current. so bear that in mind if you are in the water or at the beach tomorrow. and here a look at the uv index. extremely high tomorrow. most intense time will be between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and the time be -- the amount of time for sun burn to occur, only 10 minutes under these conditions. bear that in mind. we have great weather here in the city this weekend for pride weekend. the forecast calling for sunny skies in san francisco tomorrow with a high about 79 degrees. on sunday we'll see clouds. breezier and cooler a high of 69 degrees which o which by san francisco standards is mild. a low back at the accuweather seven-day forecast. hot tomorrow. but cooling down sharply on sunday as the heat moderates inland and pretty much goes away elsewhere. and then on monday the cooling continues and for virtually all of next week see temperatures in a more seasonal range. certainly for comfortable. no extremes, the highest highs will be mid-80s mid-to upper 80s. mid-70s around the bay and 60 on the coast. to bring on next week. i can't wait.

live, where you live, this is abc 7 news. and here are the stories making headlines at 4:30. the heat is on in the bay area this weekend. temperatures are soaring, particularry in the east way where they are topping 90 degrees. calfire is on alert with a red flag warning issued for multiple bay area communities, including the north bay. looking for relief? you're not getting it tomorrow. abc 7 spencer christian says several locations will go over the 100 degree mark. and there is a chance we could see record highs. the bay area could end up housing some of the migrant families detained at the border. our news reporter lessry brinkley huss discovered the concord naval weapons station is being considered by the government. this comes as some of the families separated are being reunited. hundreds of others are still waiting with no clear answer as to when they will be reunited. abc news reporter marcie gonzalez joins us live from el cajon with more. marcie. >> reporter: and ama several

detained parents filed suit today in federal court asking a judge to require the government to at the very least let them know where their children are as they wait and hope for moments like this. 7-year-old darwin separated from his mother at the border more than a month ago. now back in her arms. one of 500 migrant children reunited with their parents since may according to an energies official. but still at least 1,800 more kids being held in foster care and shelters across the country remain in willy-nilly o. the trump administration still with no set plan on how to reunite them with families. >> the government should be in the business of keeping families together, not tearing them apart. >> among those waiting, 6-year-old allisonen from el salvador.

concert series. >> eight decades. that's something else. what makes it so uniquely san francisco? how would you characterize it for people. >> it's becauses it free to the public to attend there are no barriers to entry. so therefore we attract if not in an individual concert because of the particular artists across the whole season we have an incredible cross section of the community. that in a beautiful neighborhood pak that about a decade ago we spent $15 million renovating. larry halperin designed. it's a great experience. great people watching. >> and keeping it free is such a unique part of the festival and making it so special. that can't be easy. this is an expense to put on. >> well, we have a roughly $3 million budget we raise most every year. and we appeal to the public to corporations, to attendees and lots of other folks to contribute to it. >> to support the great effort. we had a great act last weekend.
