abc news confirmed today that an internal document prepared for the u.s. navy secretary's signature outlines plans to house 25,000 migrants at abandoned airfields in florida and alabama, another 47,000 migrants at camp pendleton in southern california. and an additional 47,000 migrants at what was the concord naval weapons station. >> and in one word this is madness. >> congressman mark desaulnier was caught off guard saying he heard nothing about it until the news broke this afternoon. >> the idea that you put almost 50,000 in a detention facility in the middle of the bay area, in the middle of a very urbanized area is absurd. and that reminds me of world war ii. and japanese internment. we don't want to be party to that. >> the document mentions $233 million to construct appear operate temporary tent recities described as austere. >> we are going backwards.
