santa cruz heat, all of the people enjoying the sun. drew tuma joining us with a look at the hot spots and when we will see the relief, drew. >> look at these numbers right now. dealing with triple digit temperatures in liver moore and fairfield. around the bay shore line, warm. 70s to mid 80s across the cities. a heat advisory in effect going until 8:00 tonight for a majority of the night. heat illness is possible, exhaustion and heat stroke. it is going to be a mild evening. not as hot tomorrow and warm to finish out the weekend and the fire danger running high. we'll detail that in the full accuweather forecast in a few minutes. >> thank you, drew. >> the hottest area in the east bay, plenty of triple digit

some san francisco residents woke up to a sound of afire alarm set up by an intruder that broke into their building. 19th and castro streets. tenants tell us the man rang their doorbell several times and then set off a fire sprinkler at 5:00 a.m. >> he was yelling and couldn't tell what he was saying. he was banging on our door and my husband was holding the door shut and hold the towels so we wouldn't get more water damage. >> the neighbors say the water damaged the businesses on the ground floor and one person grabbed a hockey stick to protect themselves and the police arrested the man, no one hurt. police caught up with him
