>> sky 7 shows us where they want to build the reservoir. enough water to provide over a quarter million 5-person household for a year. ongoing concern about drought has the district taking a multifaceted approach to securing water. even this project will not yield a new water source for years. >> we have to finish up the environmental impact statements. we have to get comments on those documents and get those ready, and get all of the funding in place we have partners which is good and this could take as long as ten years >> the project will require construction of a 319-foot high earth and damn. the water district has applied for funding from the state's war ffhe

with the forecast. >> the heat is going to spike towards the end of the week. at the moment we have mild to warm conditions with sunny skies and patches of fog near the coastline. we are looking at blue skies over the bay and the embarcadero. currently 61 degrees in san francisco. over in marine layer beginning to build now. santa rosa 75. 83 concord, and 80 livermore. and the view from the east bay hills camera. thin, high clouds and low clouds beginning to expand. and these are our forecast features. low clouds and fog expanding widely overnight. little cooler in most areas. temperatures soars inland on

friday and saturday. gusts of 28 miles per hour in fearfie fairfield. overnight low clouds and fogs reaching the bay. and then forecast shows that fog is going to be pretty dense in some areas during the early morning hours so that may reduce visibility for morning commuters but burns quickly as it goes back to the coastline. mainly sunny skies. and lingering low cloudiness at the coast. let's do tomorrow's highs. high of 60 at half moon bay tomorrow. 82 in antioch. and north bay 92. and 90 in lake port.
