looking at our one main trouble spot. 680, we have a couple separate issues -- make that three. two are still blocking. we talked to chp. 680 past state route 84, the other one further south around andrade and we have the center lane blocked there south of 84. so that is starting to really stack up into the pleasanton area towards 580. nine miles an hour as you approach sunol. definitely seeing some delays right now. a quick check of the north bay commute, southbound 101 through san rafael. no major issues. some pretty light volumes. we'll look at drive times up next. breaking news now, police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving at least seven vehicles in downtown san jose. two people have serious injuries. police say this started when a pi c person in this black lexusd to be extricated.

police say the suspect took off and crashed into several parked cars about a block away. police eventually arrested the driver. a female passenger in the truck was also injured. vine street is back open after being closed for about four hours. take a look at what happened in san jose. this car upside-down on vta tracks at capitol and mckee road. they managed to clear it about 45 minutes ago. service will run as normal today. the driver, fortunately, not seriously hurt in this. a search is on for the driver who hit a pedicab on san francisco's embarcadero and left the scene. >> that collision left the pedicab driver in critical condition and a family of four injured. our colleague jessica as it troe is live near sansome. >> reporter: this happened about 12 hours ago. police worked into the night on their investigation and right now still no suspect in custody.

this morning they're asking anyone with any information if they saw anything, heard anything, or know anything to contact police. i want to show you a look at the crash that happened at embarcadero and sansome. several people were hurt. the pedicab driver is in critical condition at san francisco general. the owner of the pedicab company spoke to abc 7 news but didn't want to be named. >> as an owner it's your worst case scenario. we've been running this company for a long time. our people are very dear to us. we're very concerned about him. >> reporter: police say the suspect hit the pedicab just after 4:00 in the afternoon yesterday and then a second pedicab hit the first cab after the crash and a family of four were passengers in the two cabs. the two kids, ages 8 and 5 years old have nonlife threatening injuries. right now police are reviewing

some surveillance video they do have from this intersection. we're also asking for the public's help as i mentioned looking for a light-colored sedan last seen going in the direction of the bay bridge. if you know anything, call authorities. reporting live from the embarcadero, i'm jessica castro, abc 7 news. oakland police want to find the person responsible for a deadly shooting at a mini mart. this happened around 5:30 at the corner of 89th avenue and mcarthur boulevard. officers found one man dead and three others hurt. witnesses describe a chaotic scene. >> i saw out of the corner of my eye this guy is bleeding like crazy. i made a u-turn and tried to stop the bleeding but there were too many bullet wounds. >> oakland police are still searching for the shooter. no word on a description of the suspect. >> this man from fairfield is now in jail after police say he shot at a jail and it was caught on camera.

26-year-old dominick cobert was trying to bail out a friend. authorities would not release his friend and so he allegedly did this. take a look at the left side of your screen. you can see faintly some of the smoke from eight gunshots that went into the jail release door. he then led police on a chase before he was finally arrested. this morning fire crews are making progress on the pawnee fire burning in lake county. it is now 13,700 acres. it's 30% contained. >> good news for residents, evacuees in spring valley are back home this morning. some road closures have been lifted. >> not everyone has a home to return to. one home did not survive the flames. denise did not have insurance and not by oversight. >> i couldn't get fire insurance when i moved in after the fire. nobody was giving out insurance. >> in all 22 structures burned in the pawnee tire.

a 93-year-old concord woman who was the victim of a violent purse snatching at sun valley mall has died. right now the suspect, 29-year-old otto, is charged with elder abuse and robbery. 93-year-old anne peterson was knocked to the ground and severely hurt in the robbery in may. the district attorney will determine if the charges will change. it is not clear yet if peterson died as a result of her injuries. oakland police say tens of thousands of dollars of illegal fireworks are off the street this morning. a bomb squad seized those hid nen a storage unit in san leandro. a 45-year-old man was illegally selling them in oakland. >> you don't want people getting injured.
