deepening and deep enough that fo fog could interfere, but away from the coast you should be able to see the fireworks. i will be back with the fourth of july forecast. >> thanks. in developing news a i wildfire is furtherig its destructive path in napa county. it consumed 113 square miles and you can see it in the red. an area of more than twice of size of san francisco. three napa communities just to the south are under evacuation advisory. a mandatory order is in effect for yolo county. the flame threatened 1,000 homes and businesses. it started saturday and 15% contained. more than 2600 fire personnel are fighting the flame. all evacuations have been lifted for the 15,000 acre pawnee fire. containment is at 85% and the

chp opened several state highways. they destroyed 22 buildings, about half of them homes. cal fire expects full containment by saturday. >> 19 months after a deadly fire ripped through an open warehouse, some closure for victims's families. two men creating a death trap will remain in jail. they accepted a plea deal today. lisa has more on reaction from all sides. are to say this father is heartbroken would be an under statement. his daughter was one of 36 people killed in the fire. the two men who ran the warehouse turned living space and party venue struck a deal. derek got nine years and will likely serve 3.5. max harris got six and should be out in less than two years. >> three or four years and two years with time served. we just wanted some justice. fair justice.

victims saying oakland will forever mourn the beautiful lives lost in the fire. as we move through the judicial process, we respect the agreements reached among the attorney, defendants and the court. >> at least 12 of the victims families are suing them in civil court. after today's plea deal, a representative of those families said she will proceed with the lawsuit. it claimed 36 lives and we have not forgotten them. you can read stories about each victim on our website, abc 7 news.com. >> approximate are a 29-year-old brentwood man is accused of murdering his mother. they arrested matthew redmond after he tried to carjack a neighbor's car. an off duty officer and his wife wrestled the suspect to the ground ground and they found his mother brutally beaten to death at her home a block away.

pushing on the train car to free her. they got it back enough to get her leg out. the woman reportedly begged people not to call the ambulance, saying she couldn't afford it. >> the rescue crews are considering options to free 12 boys and their soccer coach trapped in the flooded cave in thailand. they released this video of the group and learned that they entered the cave as part of an initiation. >> a new challenge in the tense cave rescue. getting the 12 boys and their soccer coach out of the cave safe safely. they are staying with the boys, feeding and evaluating them. they're alive, but weak and tired after being lost inside the dark and flooded cave. they were about a half mile under ground and a little over a mile from the cave's entrance.

smoke from the county fire. breezy and cooler than average. a warmer pattern on thursday with mild conditions at the coast and hot weather inland by the weekend. if you like the heat, it's coming back. upper 40s to the upper 50s around the renal yon. fog and low clouds and for the afternoon, do expect the temperatures in the 70s and 80s inland. not where we should be for july, but this time of year with the fire danger, this is a good thing. temperatures in the 60s. the 12-hour planner for the fourth of july. breezy afternoon looking at 50s to 70s and at 4:00 p.m., temperatures in the low 80s and upper 50s near the coast. there will be fog around near the coast around the bay. if you are going to tahoe to watch the fireworks, expect smokey conditions. our smoke will be heading in that direction. visibility should be fine.

gusty winds and partly cloudy friday. notice the warming trend by saturday in the mid 80s inland. i want to turn your attention to the hurricane in the pacific. it's a category two storm that will weaken as it traverses the cooler waters, but send a southerly swell in our direction. we have a beach hazard for the coastline. watch out for the swell that could generate rip currents and waves at the coast. if you are just enjoying the nice weather, it will get hot enough where you may want to head to the beach. below average for fourth of july. low to mid 90s inland and 60s by the coast. the microclimate is at full play. not a lot of change, but a little bit of a dip. >> thanks. >> stay with us here for the

talk about cute. a houston family is welcoming home four bundles of joy for the fourth of july. three girls and a boy born to a first time mom on june 1st. to celebrate their homecoming, they were wrapped in patriotic themed blankets. >> can you imagine the reaction when they saw the ultrasound? >> no. fireworks. >> first time mom. >> that's pretty good.
