utof tgetting out of the cave alive. the thai navy s.e.a.l.s reacting to the news on facebook writing we're not sure if this is miracle or science or what. the feet incredible by all accounts considering the twisted treacherous and flooded maze of passageways rescuers were forced to navigate. in this video you can even see the divers fighting to stay above water gripping that rope all the while carrying air tanks and equipment guiding the coach and the boys to safety. the soccer team found alive last monday after spending ten days trapped and inlost inside the dark cave. they survived by drinking water which was dripping down the sides of the cave. turns out the team also went into the cave with a bit of food. local media reporting a woman sold the team snacks like these,

chips, soda and orange drinks before they followed their coach into the cave for what was supposed to be a fun excursion after practice that turned into a lesson of survival. so what happens now? we're told they will be evaluated and remain quarantined in the hospital for about a week. we're told two of the boys have pneumonia. their families will only be able t see them through a glass partition. >> president trump tweeting his praise following the rescue. he says quote, on behalf of the united states congratulations to the thai navy s.e.a.l.s all on the successful rescue of the 12 boys and their coach from the treacherous cave. triumph in thailand airs at 9:00 p.m. right here on abc 7. happening now, a search is under way to find a missing

woman last seen here in the bay area. and now her missing family is offering a $10,000 reward for their safe return. investigators say the 23-year-old is from oregon. she was traveling from portland through the bay area was was last heard half moon bay. fire investigators in san francisco say last night's fire in the forth beach neighborhood does not look suspicious. they're still trying to stfigur out the cause. amy, it sounds like this was a palmler loc popular local hang out. >> reporter: reggie, we talked to people who said they came here every day. this really unites workers who work in the tourism industry. they're very sad to see it's now customers and scorched.

shaking off the day when some of them realized the north beach bar was on fire. >> i was bar tending down stairs and some people outside screaming there was a fire. there was smoke coming out the top and just got everybody out of the building and stood there and watched it burn. >> reporter: some of them made such a fast escape they left their drinks behind. everyone got out okay but the fiddlers green and the buildings on either side have damage. her office is next door to the bar at columbus and beach. firefighters kept it from spreading, but she still had some damage to deal with this morning. >> smells like smoke. there's definitely good damage on the up stairs. they broke windows, broke fire doors. so we're lucky. >> reporter: loyal customers of the fiddlers green stopped by

today to survey the damage. >>it's my local joint, hopefully they recover because this is where i was going to be tonight. >> reporter: you're looking at an airbnb that's two doors down from the bar. five tourists were staying here. the building is fine, but there's a strong smell of smoke so the red cross helped relocate them to the holiday inn for peace of mind. but four people, four residents were displaced including the bartender who actually lives above the bar. his home now burned, he says he's staying with friends for now. one person was hurt and that was a firefighter. he suffered a cut on his hand, but they tell me he's going to be okay. amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. and now some news on our wildfires where firefighters say they're starting to make some progress. it's burned more than 36,000

acres and wiped out dozens of buildings including houses. containment at 40%. cal fire says with the current conditions crews are up against it. >> they have a lot of challenges, some erratic winds and the fuels are very ripe to burn, very dry down in the lower elevations.% >> meanwhile the county fire in napa and yolo counties is the largest wildfire in california. it's burned more than 90,000 acres. firefighters are optimistic they'll have it fully contain bide thursday. containment is currently and fire officials are looking into this fire at berkeley. there have been no reports of anyone injured. a group of protesters showed up once again at a big google

even in silicon valley. they're concerned about a tech companies in san jose and its impact on the environment. matt? >> reporter: hi, reggie, this group of protesters has been very active. recently they were at the shareholders meeting in mountain view and today they're at the marketing conference here in san jose. google's marketing live 2018 has taken over the san jose convention center. inside they'll showcase the latest technology in advertising. but the message from a small group of protesters outside was quite different. sail convalley rising was a grume of community actests who say they're concerned about google's plan for a megacamp ins downtown san jose. >> if tech companies like google continue to come in and add more jobs and do nothing about theis

the development plans would cause homelessness and displacement to skyrocket. they want google to pay for an affordable housing fund, commit to certain workers rights, support local schools and help with traffic issues. the city of san jose is currently holding monthly station area advisory group meetings to address some of these issues. in a statement google's public affairs manager says we are listening to and working with government community officials who know san jose best to be a part of the solution for the concerns surrounding housing, generaification, displacement and employment opportunities. activists say they've got no concrete plans. >> i've got nothing to know what's happening with this project and what google is going to do to mitigate its impact.

>> reporter: matt keller, abc 7 news. tesla's program for the model 3 is going away. so in its place a $2,500 nonrefundable deposit. starting this week anyone who wants the car doesn't have to reserve it. they just have to put down the money. the model 3 backlog still exists. however, new buyers could get a better idea when to expect the car by going to the company's website. tesla is still going to prioritize ord reservation orders. we learned they're planning to open a factory in china. according to bloomberg tesla has reached a preliminary agreement with shanghai to build a factory. right now the lone tesla factory is right here in fremont, which you can see in this video.

moisture. and notice the clouds trying to back their way up towards us. but right now there's a small area of high pressure bringing us a bit of an offshore wind and keeping the cloudiness at bay. so we're going have total sunshine today until this starts to sweep in tonight and bring the marine layer back. and it will undercut the heat, so it's going to be very hot up around 10,000 feet. but where we are in the marine layer the temperature is going to drop the next couple of days. santa cruz, 80 degrees this afternoon. to about 88 in red wood city. over the coast mid to upper 60s this afternoon. and low to mid-70s in downtown san francisco. and if you're going to game this evening, 67. and low to mid-90s dominate everywhere, except at the coast. and east bay pretty much low to

mid-80s in most neighborhoods. it'll be a pain to stay cool once again in the east bay lot of your thauermometers out year antioch and brentwood hit 100. if you download ouret our forecu want when we're not on television. you can see we're dropping down to comfortable levels, 50s at the coast and 60s and 70s for the rest of the us. and by midnight inclouds are rolling in. mid to upper 50s, concord out to antioch we'll have the low to mid-60s. let's take a look at my accuweather seven day forecast. and because of the slower sunshine tomorrow we're going to have temperatures going to be about 2 to 8 degrees cooler. temperatures back down to average levels. and sunday and monday not too bad either, just about a degree or two warmer. >> okay, i think people are kin.
