of them rolled or whatever it may be. i saw two people would be way off in the distance, so we were at the front of the boat. they were way off in the distance. i believe they may be actual workers that jumped in after others trying to save them. so i believe that's what it was. we're told many of the victims included young children. the ntsb has already dispatched a team of investigators. they'll arrive at the scene later on this morning. and central iowa is cleaning up this morning after tornadoes touched down east of des moines. this is just one of them forming in valeria. you can see it kicking up debris on the road ahead. it was one of at least five tornados in that area. >> oh, my god. >> reporter: cameras were rolling as devastating tornadoes touched down in iowa. homes were ripped apart in bondurant, about 13 miles outside of des moines. >> honey, get inside. there just went a house. there just went a house. houses are going. >> reporter: watch as the

two brothers ages 2 and 4 left inside a vehicle in west haven. the 4-year-old did not survive and his younger brother is said to be fighting for his life at a hospital. >> it's just so sad. i just feel really, really bad for the kids. >> reporter: police have not announced an arrest in the case, but reporters on the scene say a man was taken away in handcuffs. in miami, a tragedy avoided after a woman noticed a baby in a car seat in the back of this nissan in a strip mall parking lot in 93-degree weather. at first she thought it was a doll, but after realizing it was a living, breathing baby, she opened the unlocked car and called police. the mom arrived 24 minutes later. >> is he okay? >> he's okay. >> he's fine. >> we're getting the emergency department. >> i'm a nurse and i hear these stories and i have four kids and i always say like how could that possibly ever happen. >> it happened. >> reporter: police arrested the mom and charged her with child neglect. and before yesterday's incidents there have been 25 hot car

deaths this year according to kidsandcars.org. experts suggest parents put the child's favorite toy in the front seat so they'll remember the child is in the back. authorities in southern california are offering a $30,000 reward to help shovel a baffling murder case. tristan beaudette was shot in the head and killed last month while camping with his two young daughters at malibu creek state park. it is the latest in a series of shootings. the "l.a. times" is now reporting investigators are looking into two reports of shots fired over the past week near that campground. a series of bee attacks near phoenix has left one person in critical condition and two others injured. two of them happened within hours of one another. in scottsdale a landscaper is in the hospital after he was stung multiple times. now, two other landscapers were attacked in a separate incident, one covered in the insects. both refused to go to the hospital, and in new hampshire,

six people were stung after a worker in a bucket truck hit a hive. the worker was stung by hundreds of bees until a neighbor came to the rescue. >> i went right into the middle of everything and unhooked him, took him down, brought him over there and hosed him down. you got to do what you got to do to save a person, right? >> a 54-year-old california woman was also stung nearly to death by thousands of so-called killer bees when she was getting a mop out of the trunk of her car. and now to a new warning for fans of the popular video game fortnite. a 13-year-old boy in ohio gave another gamer his user info in exchange for add-ons for his avatar, but instead that person took over the teen's account which was linked to his mother's credit card and then spent hundreds of dollars. >> i feel sorry for him, but i also have told him it's a lesson learned. i think it's an eye opener when it happens to you. you just want other parents to be aware. >> the scammer also locked the teen out of his account and killed off his character.
