different kind of ball game being played here at at&t park this morning and throughout the weekend. we know some of the international fans that are here have never been to the u.s. and for the u.s. its their very first time hosting a tournament like this one. let the games begin. san francisco's at&t park as we know it has been transformed into rugly world cup central. more than 100,000 tickets have been purchased for this three-day tournament. battles from some of the world's best rugby players and support from the fans. his squad are ready. the new zealanders feeling pretty confident and dominant after its rugby success. but don't count out the u.s. teams. many believe this is the country's best opportunity yet to win a sevens world cup. our men's team has never come

warning drivers not to laze around the area because of this international tournament here in the city of san francisco. i am reporting live at at&t park, abc 7 news. >> amanda, thank you. a crash involving a big rig on highway 92 on skyline this morning created a huge delay for drivers. in fact cars were parked for more than an hour in both directions as crews tried to cleanup the mess. >> reporter: you almost made it to the weekend but bay area traffic was not done with you just yet. this morning drivers on highway 82 were literally parked on the road in both directions. the chp says about 4:45 a.m. a pickup truck crashed into a big rig. both vehicles ended off the road and into some trees. after that happened drivers were stuck. we drove up about 6:15 a.m.,

about an hour and a half after the crash. and people waited and waited and waited. vehicles stood still while the commute time went up and up. bobby h bobby haskell and his boat was supposed to be offshore. his friends called him to tell him they already caught some fish. >> they're on another boat so -- >> reporter: and they're around catching fish. >> yep, i'm sitting here stewing. >> reporter: carsp finally went from park to drive. it's amazing all the damage done to these trees and the crash, the drivers only had minor injuries. now to that duck boat tragedy in southern missouri. 17 people are dead after the tour boat capsized in rough waters. the mtsb is on its way to investigate what went wrong. abc's maggie ruly has new

information. >> reporter: witness videos shows those terrifying moments right before a boat full of tourists capsized killing 17 people, some of them children. >> need a water rescue. will be north of the showboat. will be a duck that has capsized. >> reporter: sending the 31 people on that duck boat, a popular tourist attraction that takes apparentlies on land and sea into the waters. >> it's going to take time to know the details of everything that's occurred, but i think it's important to find out for sure exactly what did occur. >> reporter: at the time a thunderstorm woorning was in effect. another duck boat passing by can be seen struggling to stay afloat. >> we saw the two duck boats kind of struggling in the water. >> reporter: they saw the boat go down. they say the bad weather came on fast and furious. >> the wind really picked up bad and debris was flying everywhere and just the waves were really rough. so it was suddenly and out of

nowhere. >> reporter: the company who owns the ducks says their safety over the years has been impeccable and they're still waiting to learn what happened. but he tells cbs. >> no, it shouldn't have been in the water. >> reporter: they're expected to look into the exact weather conditions that were happening at the time as well as the condition of the boat. abc news, new york. new at 11:00 we have learned three people are under arrest for the killing of a north bay man. investigators say the victim jose martinez was reported missing by his daughter on july 2nd. his body was found this past wednesday buried in a marijuana garden in hillsberg. these three men named as the suspects in his death. they say the killing was over a drug deal. it shows the victim at a grocery

store in clover dale on june 29th. when he left he was kidnapped. he was driven to a remote location and shot to death. san diego businesses making a sweep. investigators say the gambling parlors triggered violent crimes in the city. it shows seven different businesses that were raided by san jose by police and the department of justice. and an eighth had a penal code investigation or inspection. police seized $70,000 in cash during raids in march. 64 illegal gambling devices were taken as well. five people were arrested. police say more arrests and charges could be coming in the future. >> a youth badminton coach is accused of molesting a 17-year-old girl. he was arrested at joseph grant
