and injuring her sister letifah. the attack sunday at macarthur . he has a long criminal history which includesicer and assault and paroled in may of this year. some bart passengers are getting nervous about riding on bart. bart's board president has answers for people concerned about their safety and abc 7 news anchor ama dates has details. >> reporter: plenty of questions of the stabbing death of nia wilson. those adding to the memorial say safety should never be in question. >> it's a worry for our youth now, are they going to be safe, are we going to see our sisters come home and family members come home. >> reporter: carrie was in the same social circles as nia. she says safety is always a concern of hers. a report by bart found macarthur is among the stations with the most violent crime. the richmond coliseum, san leandro and daly city cities joined the list.

during the bart strike. use it when you post your comments on twitter or facebook so we can find them and hopefully get answers for you. plastic straws and containers may soon be gone at restaurant and bars in san francisco. the board of supervisors has approved an ordinance banning businesses from providing straws, stirrers and toothpicks and customers would have t like packets and nap skins unless at a self-serve station. it faces a second vote next week. if it passes and mayor breed signs it into law it would take effect next july. opponents are concerned about disabled people who need straws to sip drinks. a hearing will begin to determine if a north bay school district can prevent a 5-year-old girl from bring cannabis school to her. the press democrat reports the girl has a rare form of epilepsy

that causes frequent and long-lasting seizures. they're in con valley school district does not allow students to bring the thc oil on campus. the girl was preparing to start kindergarten this year andad. nd ante emploes misusing and wasting hundreds of thousands of tax dollars. in one case the dmv worker slept at her desk at least three hours a day. she got away with it for three years, despite complaints from other workers. the wasted hours cost the state $40,000. in another case, a cal fire chief had two workers build a tiki room on a state-owned home that he rent out. and a csu employee spent $7,000 for an electric car charger that isn't compatible with the campus power grid. never more than seven
