miraculously, of the 103 people on board, everyone survived. the captain is the most seriously injured. 49 people were taken to hospitals. this passenger says after the crash she and her son jumped out of a hole that opened in the plane's fuselage. some passengers even able to walk back to the airport. at least 65 americans were on board. one is reverend ezekiel sanchez from chicago. he will undergo surgery for multiple broken bones in his arm. many in his congregation anxiously awaiting his return home. >> there are a lot of peoples praying for him. >> reporter: the governor of durango says the plane was lifting off when it tried to abort the takeoff due to bad weather, but it was too late. this video shows the storm rolling through durango at the

on administrative leave. the school is looking into claims meyer's wife knew for years about spousal abuse allegations against the now former buckeye's assistant. there are also accusations that coach meyer was made aware of the abuse and never did anything about it. assistant coach zach smith was accused in 2015 and was never charged. his ex-wife says she texted coach meyer's wife. she thinks the details were made known to the head coach. >> with shelly meyer being aware of everything going on and saying that she was going to have to tell urban, do you think that he knows about all of this? >> i believe he does. >> did he ever directly talk to you about what was going on in your marriage? or between you and zach? >> not the abuse. he never spoke to me about the

physical abuse, but he had, you know, made a couple comments to me, and we have had a couple conversations, very brief, how are you guys doing? everything okay? >> last week coach meyer said that he was aware of the 2009 incident with the smiths, and that he and his wife addressed it with them back then. he said he was not aware of the alleged case in the fall of 2015. and, you know, what's interesting about this is, so people are asking, well, what did urban meyer do? the claim is he knew about it and didn't do anything about it and could cause problems with his contract. 73 and 8, the most successful coach out there. >> the meaning is more so because of the level at which he is coaching. >> right. and the allegations are heinous, again, coach meyer saying he didn't know about that incident, but it remains to be seen. there's an investigation going. we'll see what comes from that.
