most of the entrances at yosemite are closed involving safety concerns. this is impacting the tourist season. >> reporter: as flames inch their way closer, a majority of one of the nation's most iconic parks stays closed. >> we certainly hoped it wouldn't happen like this. >> the park ranger says closures throughout the park were sparked by safety concerns as active fire and fire operations impact all three roads that access the valley floor. >> there is a lot of dead and downed fuel out there. we have a will the of trees. we have a lot of other grasses and fuels that are helping to fuel this fire. >> though, there are portions that remain open, including trails and recreation trails.
