we'll get you some. turning to nashville police where they're investigating a new york officer who allegedly broke into the home he thought he had rented in nashville and threatened and berated the family who was living there. >> the officer was apparently really drunk and now that family wants justice. daniel lee from our new york station has the story with help from our nashville affiliate, team coverage. >> reporter: it's 2:30 in the morning, july 9th. home surveillance camera captures a man belligerent. a man nashville police believe is a nypd officer, minutes later, she says he broke into her home, down the street from those rentals. >> you hear the big boom, that was my door being kicked in. >> reporter: her son told him to get out. and the intruder had his words of his own that were captured on camera.

a federal judge in washington stopped the deportation of a mother and daughter after their plane had already taken off. the judge threatened to hold attorney general jeff sessions in contempt and ordered to send the family back to the united states. he says it's outrageous that a family is spirited away. the mother and child were flown back to texas. the parents of first lady melania trump have just been sworn in as u.s. citizens. the couple was sponsored by the first lady through a process that's been repeatedly criticized by president trump as chain migration. the president's in-laws moved to the united states from slovenia and their attorney says they received no special treatment. >> everything went through a regular process like everybody else. it was all done lawfully. >> the first lady's parents were sworn in during a private ceremony in new york. the president wants to restrict

family-based immigration. it would allow spouses and children in, but not parents. the holy fire has grown to 10,000 acres and counting. the holy fire is now threatening homes and businesses. you see the firefight there in the overnight hours. the governor, jerry brown, has declared a state of emergency. will carr is there. >> reporter: the holy fire making a run, threatening hundreds of homes. the fire exploding, now incinerating nearly 10,000 acres, more than 20,000 residents forced to evacuate. this fire has made a serious run. you can see those flames racing up this hillside.
