latest, they tell me teachers are leading classroom discussions. we talked to parents and kids as they headed into class today. we found nervousness from both. it seemed like the parents were a little more anxious than the kids. >> i was thinking to not bring my daughter to school. she insisted to come. >> ruiz was feeling emotional as she dropped off her daughter. >> yesterday i was home crying by myself. i don't know what to do. >> a gunfird in a classroom around 11:00 yesterday morning. no one was hit. the school was on lockdown for about two hours as police searched the campus. they say the student had run away. sources say his mother later turned him in. students headed back to class today. they were hoping for a normal

francisco police to get an update on the investigation into what happened yesterday and why. we have not heard back. abc 7 news. >> thank you. new at 11:00 sky 7 is over santa clara after a train hit a pedestrian on the tracks. passengers were just taken off of the train and put onto shuttles. officials have not released information on the extend of the pedestrians it's delayed up to two hours because shuttles cannot reach itssocial outrage. an that sterling posted videos on twitter. she says a friend recorded them in the line last night. the first video shows a man putting another young man in aheadlock on the seats of the train. the next shows them trying to throw the same young man off the

train. look at that. the third man has yet to be found. officers say they are continuing their investigation. san jose's police chief says they will respond to all alarms whether they are verified or not. it follows a recent crime wave last night residents demanded action. authorities say out of the dozens of arrests made 95 incidents have been linked to that group including strong armed robberies and carjackings. shifting gears now it is labor day weekend. we seem to be in a warming pat everyone, is that right? >> yeah. it starts with all of that

happening today at noon a man suspected of killing mollie tibbetts will appear in court. rivera lead authorities to her body ten days ago. she vanished on july 18th while out on a run. officials say rivera is in the
