came to me after that first story. they said enough is enough. >> 1 hours cbs announced that moonves left the company. in separate statements provided to the new yorker, it is committed to a thorough and independent investigation of the allegations and that investigation is actively under way. cbs corporation said it takes these allegations very seriously and called the board's investigation thorough and ongoing. in an sec filing, they said moonves would continue to perform advisory services and received office services and security services for up to two years. the network would pay moonves $120 million if the internal investigation failed to provide grounds for his dismissal. $20 million will also go to organizations supporting the me too movement. moonves maintains he did nothing wrong, continuing in his written
