i think it cleared out earlier enough. a quick check of the bay bridge toll plaza. the metering lights have been on for 30 minutes. 5:30 the official start time. we'll take a look at drive times coming up at 6:10. breaking news. >> we have b coming into our live desk. this is brand-new video just into the live desk showing crews battling a fire in the east bay. it broke out near a propane manufacturing and storage plant near pittsburgh, forcing firefighters to evacuate the plant as a precaution. the big concern is the embers floating toward the plant. investigators say the plant produces oxygen and has propane canisters. this all began about 1:30 this morning when a grove of trees caught fire. it destroyed a couple of acres, according to the fire captain. we'll keep tck and have updates as they come in. we're following breaking news out of marin county. a wildfire is forcing

evacuations and prompting road closures. >> let's show you a map of the irving fire. it's burnt 100 acres in the wooded area of samuel p. taylor state park. people living on mountain king road, portola avenue, alamo road down to barranca road were evacuated. road closures are all of alamo road and portola avenue. marin county fire says firefighters are dealing with steep terrain but they are making some progress. at last check it was 10% contained. amy hollyfield is in marin county for us. she'll have another update coming up at 6:30. snell fire evacuees are back home. officials lifted advisories yesterday. that fire is burning 40 miles north of napa.

ceremony. president trump and first lady melania are traveling to shanksville to mark the anniversary at the flight 93 national memorial. >> ceremonies will be held in the bay area today to honor victims. in va lllejo a memorial at statn 4. menlo park will display all those who died and in san francisco, firefighters will hold an annual remembrance in less than an hour. abc7 news reporter matt keller is live at station 7. >> reporter: we're about 40 minutes away from the ceremony starting here. they'll be taking place at all fire stations across san francisco. the public is invited to attend. they start at 6:45 this morning. here's video from last year's ceremony at station 7. this one in san francisco. it's hard to believe it's been 17 years since the attacks on the world trade center, the pentagon and flight 93. san francisco firefighters are making sure the people who are killed are never forgotten.

today's ceremony starts at 6:45 when fire engines and trucks will flank the driveway on both sides. firefighters will then assemble at attention in front of the station's flagpole. at 6:59 a.m., the time of the south tower collapse, three sets of three bell rings will chime signifying the last alarm. then at 7:00, flags will be lowered to half-staff followed by a minute of silence. at 7:02, all names of new york firefighters killed on 9/11 will be read allowed and flags will remain at half-staff for the remainder of the day. a team of oakland firefighters driving across the country to north carolina are bringing a week's worth of supplies that they'll need when hurricane florence hits the east coast. that 16-member true is trained for water and flood rescues. last night firefighters packed their rescue boats, food and fuel. right now florence is a powerful category 4 hurricane.

discuss an ordinance that will ban the sale of flavored tobacco products. county officials say they get teens hooked on smoking because the candy-like flavors mask the taste of tobacco smoke. the cdc says e-cigarettes -- e-cigarette use, i should say, among middle and high school students has increased 800% between 2011 and 2015. in the east bay pop-up restaurants are allowed to stay, at least for now. county officials say they will stop closing pop-up restaurants as long as they follow safety laws. last month they shut down several pop-ups because they lacked permits. officials are working on permit programs and hoping to enact clear rules by october 8th. when it comes to online shopping, ordering what you need can be super convenient but returning it if you have to maybe not so much. a southern california company is hoping to change that.

together. here's a look at the fire. overnight marin county fire saying they are making some progress on getting containment. they got it 10% contained. they say it's burned about 100 acres. residents say it was pretty scary last night as the fire was growing. >> the sonoma fires from last year are all fresh in our mind and our community center was an evacuation center for ten days last october for the sonoma fires. now we're an evacuation center for our own wonderful community. so, yeah, it pretty much -- you go through every emotion that there is. >>r:heurng steerrain and t get to it. those that live along mountain king road, portola road are

evacuated. 20 to 30 structures are being threatened by the fire. the red cross is here at the community center to offer help to anyone who needs it. reporting live in marin county, amy hollyfield, abc7 news. >> thank you. shasta county, interstate 5 is reopened but it could close again if the flames change from the delta fire. vehicles carrying flammable material are prohibited from using a 17-mile stretch closest to the fire. the delta fire has burned nearly 50,000 acres of brush and timber and only 5% contained. several neighborhoods north of redding are still evacuated. take a look at this photo that came into our live desk during the newscast. it's a homeless encampment fire that broke out overnight. it was first reported around 2:45 this morning near east 12th street and 22nd street.

board cameras. today san francisco's district attorney will announce a new safety campaign and this comes after several recent ride share attacks around the bay area. we don't have all the details of the campaign quite yet but we're told representatives from uber will be at the conference. it's set for 1:00 this afternoon. new data shows nearly one in five marijuana products failed state safety tests. the state began requiring safety tests back in july and the associated press found over the past couple of months nearly 11,000 samples were tested and 2,000 of those failed. some products failed because of unacceptable levels of pesticide and bacteria. industry experts say the standards are too strict and technical glitches are adding to the high failure state. the state is considering revising some rules. in the east pay a city council man is calling attention to the homeless problem.

separate crashes there. i do not know the condition of that rider. ambulance is on scene. this pickup truck was involved as well. you have an suv facing the wrong way. initially calls into chp said a semi, a tractor/trailer was involved, too. sky7 pans back, check this out, a tough area to have anything blocking. even though we're down to just one full lane block along with the shoulder. we have at least a 25-minute delay on 880 and onlooker delay that's filled in on the northbound side as well. 580 is looking good, eastbound and westbound for an alternate. unless you're in a big rig, they have not given permission for big rigs to use 580 as an alternate. if you're leaving the maze heading through oakland area, you can plan on extensive delays. we'll talk more about this in ten minutes. say good-bye to subway's $5 foot long. big change coming to the sandwich change for a second time. the 9/11 anniversary
