>> mike, thank you. a new public education campaign to enhance safety for rideshare users has been launched in san francisco. district attorney gorge gascon was joined by uber officials to announce the rideshare with care campaign. it outlines three points. the first one is clarify the license plate number, color, make, model to the rideshare app you're using. second, confirm the driver's name before you provide your name. make sure the driver matches the picture on your rideshare app. share your location and destination with a friend, family member or someone you trust. >> i think that the need for this campaign is pretty obvious. you see the stories in the news, and so do we. this is an issue that is 100% preventable. >> the district attorney said there wasn't any one incident that prompted the campaign. he declined to comment about the alleged rideshare rapist case. lazo was arraigned on rape
