she did. >> reporter: ford tells the "washington post" the alleged assault 1980s when they were at high school party. she said that he started her and groping her. i thought he might . >> kavanagh said i did not do this back in high school or at any time. ford is a clinical psychology professor at palo alto university. her claims were sent to a high rinking democrat in a letter. senator dianne feinstein's statement, i support mrs. ford's decision to share her story and now that she has, it is in the hands of the fbi to conduct an investigation. >> personally i do believe her. >> reporter: stanford law

tonight on abc7 news at 11:00, we have much more on the bay area professor accusing brett kavanagh of inappropriate conduct. a santa barbara teen did the right thing when he stumbled across a purse with $10,000 inside. the 16-year-old found the purse in the middle of an intersection while walking home from school. no id inside, no one was looking for the purse, so he did the right thing by turning it into the local sheriff's office. >> to me, this was the right thing to do to take it and find whoever purse it was, because if the rules were reversed and and had lost a wallet with a significant amount of money
