officials are searching for an inmate who walked away from the washington ridge conservation camp. he was discovered missing this morning. he has ties to alameda county. he was serving time for second-degree robbery anyone who sees him should call 911. police are going under cover to try to stop laptop thefts at cafes. they will keep watch at a number of cafes around the city. be aware of your surroundings and always keep your laptop with you. in these cases thieves have been running right up to you and stealing your laptop from your

that's gray you see. look at the temperatures. in the 60s and barely some 50s. we are seeing 71 in san ramon. it won't get much warmer for those folks. use this as the backdrop. these clouds will linger and at the coast they will be a little more stubborn. it will be partly cloudy tonight and will fog up like we had this morning. we'll have above average warmth far few days. today we are in the cooler air. it is the jet stream you see. it moves our air masses. this one will hang around through at least friday. don't get used to this. it is about to change. it is 73 in san jose. that's as warm as it get wes this afternoon. mid-to upper 60s
