joe's garage on the street level of the complex, also started flooding. the grocery store was closed tuesday while workers cleaned up inside and plumbers parked outside. this is not the first time plumbing has been a problem here. cell phone video of the unit in 2016 shows the aftermath of the first time his bathroom overflowed. it took more than a month to repair that damage. when it flooded with sewage two years ago, his family had to spend $4,000 replacing furniture. now that it happened before. sewage over his couch, rugs, chairs, his family isorey will thousand dollars once again. >> i don't understand why is it so hard to look at your blueprints and figure out which pipe goes wear and figure out how to fix it. >> he is staying in a hotel right now paid for by the property owners. i actually called jon stewart, o says they will make good and cover the cost of any lost property. in san francisco, kate larson, abc 7 news. yeah. i'll follow that.

brett kavanaugh of sexual assault is now willing to testify on capitol hill but only after an fbi investigation. elizabeth hur live with the details >> reporter: dr. formed's lawyer says this is a serious situation and there is no reason to rush a public hearing. republicans say in their view there is no reason to delay it. this morning dr. christine placy ford is standing firm. no fbi investigation, no testimony. in a letter to chuck grassley obtained by abc news they wrote, "a full investigation by law enforcement officials will especially sure the crucial facts and witnesses in this matter are assess indeed a non-partisan manner and that the committee is fully informed before conducting any hearing. "adding her life has been turned upside-down and she will not be be appearing on capitol hill on monday. overnight, grassley responding in a statement, "dr. ford's testimony would reflect her
