requested an fbi investigation before her testimony. her lawyer saying that is still her strong preference but no longer seemed to be insisting on it. democrats are accusing republicans of strong-arming her as to when she will testify. but grassley said he has offered several times. >> we offered one more close said session or two ways of doing it by transcript. >> reporter: kavanaugh continues to categorically deny these accusations. he said he looks forward to testifying before the committee and continues the hearing as soon as possible so he can try to clear his name. linda lopez, abc 7 news. >> linda, what other conditions are they asking for in order for her to testify? >> reporter: you know, there are a couple more things. they want her to bes ng possibl. no opening time limit. and who will ask the questions?
